This is a very interesting setup as there's one brand of devices that are on the wall (System Sensor SpectrAlert Classics) and one brand of devices that are on the ceiling (Gehtex Commander 4s)
@@alexandersalarms5380 Revisiting this three years later, it looks like they actually did a great job. The Commanders are all synced with each other, and the SpectrAlerts are all synced with each other. I've been in office buildings where each tenant has a different type of horn/strobe, with boosters from several different brands. One place might have 4-wire TrueAlerts on continuous, their neighbor might have SpectrAlert Advances, another could have SmartSync TrueAlerts in code 3. You might hear the SmartSync pattern through 2903 + 9833's in the halls, but the one by the stairs is sounding 60 BPM march time because it's connected to the strobe NAC on a booster that's running 4903-9422's.
Looks like theres SpectrAlerts throughout the mall's hallway. Not sure where the Gentex ones (deeper horn) are coming from, though, probably some of the stores.
Code 3 at it's finest and btw they are spelled Gentex Commander 3 and Specralert Classic. Can somebody learn what a sync module is so that we don't have random alarms going off at different times. It basically makes sure all the fire alarms keep up with each other and sound when they are supposed to.
Gamin Daniel12 oh wow i want to know what the name of the fire alarms at my elementary school they are simplex maybe wheelock and high school as well they are my favorite like true alerts
