Complete destruction by fire of Leeson Polyurethanes Ltd factory on Hermes Way, Leamington Spa on Friday, 27th August 2021. The thick black plume of smoke was visible for miles around - certainly as far as Solihull. An acrid smell of burning chemicals was detected as far away as Stratford upon Avon. Fortunately, the north wind kept the smoke away from the nearby residential housing and the town of Leamington itself.
