I like them too! I got a big lot of alarms from my school too. Lucky you got the entire system tho

NO TALKING DURING A FIRE DRILL!

I might have posted a comment about bells here earlier. I now own a horn/strobe and I HATE Wheelock's horn strobes! My current school isn't so bad, since I'm in a portable and the 10 inch Simplex bells are in the hallway. Also there are 10 inch bells IN THE WASHROOMS and they are all set to code 3.

I feel sorry for you guys with the AS's. But.. those are still better than the Integrities we have in our school! And with PBS always pulling the fire alarm, it's hard not to get annoyed, even for a fire alarm enthusiast.

I wouldn't consider the AH rare and I have seen theme in some places. All of the alarms shown in the video are either Wheelock AS's or outdoor AH's. Obviously the outdoor AH's are outside and the AS's are inside. The exceders however are in one of the newer buildings on campus but are not shown or heard in the video.

That was the deputy principal and no I do not know him personaly. Haha, VERY long story short, I asked his secretary and him and he welcomed me right in to tag along with him! I had a lot of fun that day! -Connor

Sounds like you have the system sensor MAHE because I think those have a setting on them called laser or it's the MASS one of them definitely has laser another one is called fast warble and so on.

Is the Wheelock AH a rare alarm? Never seen that one before? From the intro it looks like most of the alarms in the school are Wheelock Exceeders or NS horn/strobes.

I never really understood the "No Talking" policy for fire drills considering the alarms are going to all but completely drown out any and all conversations that would be in progress to begin with :)

Funny you say that because if you go to twoplyboy's RU-vid channel he lives in Canada and some of his bell test videos use horns, horn strobes, and speakers.

I bet they're loud but have you experienced electromechanical horns? It feels like your ears are being ripped to pieces

Um no. Trust me integrities in every classroom extremely loud. I have been to a place where advances were going off and its bad but not as bad as my school. But the hallways are worse with the echo's and stuff.

APPARENTLY, we only have our drills once a year. We haven't had ours since last August!!! And that's bad!!

What did the fire alarms sound like in your school?

The AS's are about equivalent on high volume if not worse than the spectralert advance on low volume in my opinion

I started a new school this year. I'm in 5th grade in lebanon ohio. I go to berry intermitet. Tommorrow or tuesday we are having a fire drill. IM SCARED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well its knd of tricky :( for some reason I had to give them back Because the head of the school said I could when I checked with the demolition team, But the superintendent Said I no .Lol I only got a pull though goodthing I didnt get everything I would had to bring it back.but I dont understand they still tore down the school,maybe he thought it was just going to be laying around my home
