The conversations between the Male Avatar (My Unit) and Cordelia from the Summer Scramble DLC. Relationship is husband and wife. Game being played is Fire Emblem Awakening for the Nintendo 3DS.
+epicnerf1 I agree... Haha, it makes marriage seem so simple whereas all you do is talk to her 4 times and give her a ring. When really, IT IS A CRAP TON MORE COMPLEX. lol
+Asad Siddiqui Well you based on a lot of the text in the talks, there's a lot of time going on between all these talks. It's just showing the most meaningful bits of their conversations. though admittedly there are a few that sorta just shotgun a marriage without too much thought. but hey, different culture
See, this is what makes a female character lovable; not a huge pair of boobs, but a wonderful personality. I'm really glad characters like Cordelia exist. Somewhat off subject, the glance at the intimacy shared between these two is also completely adorable. I just want to hug them both so hard!
Yes, of course I do. She's my favorite gods-damned character to marry, how would I not know that? ...How does your response relate to my comment at all, anyway?
I can’t wait for when Awakening gets a remaster or remake. I really miss the awakening characters. But Cordelia I really do miss most. The dynamic between her and Robin was fun and on top of that their little family with the tsundere Severa and carefree Morgan.
God I love this adorable scene. If only there was an illustration of the kiss instead of "..." with neutral expressions. Then it would perfect. Also it's probably weird that I come back so often to this video...
I'm not really sure entirely what I saw in Cordelia originally to marry her to my avatar. But seeing a conversation like this play out...It's simply perfect.
Cordelia...by far my most favorite female character. She's the one I instantly married because shes just too damn perfect...next playthrough was Lissa.
Mikotsuhime Its made pretty clear that by this point Robin has surpassed the place that Chrom had previously held in Cordelia's heart. And so what that Cordelia had a previous unrequited crush? Loads of people have unrequited crushes that go away with time. And loads of these people go on to have happy relationships with other people later on in their lives. If anything, its Chrom who is stuck with the "silver medal" now and Robin who has received the "gold medal". As while Robin has both won Cordelia's heart in the long term and married her, Chrom had only [unwittingly at that] won Cordelia's heart in the short term earlier in her life only to let it slip away by leaving her love unrequited. As such, Robin x Cordelia has become a romantic married relationship, whereas Chrom x Cordelia is not realized and instead ends up in a platonic relationship of a subordinate soldier (Cordelia) holding great respect and loyalty to her commanding officer and prince (Chrom).
Do any of you people remember when Cordelia said "the thing is....." then Cordelia immediately say yes, I think Cordelia is kinda lovesick. She was about to reject it, but after seeing this scene, add me glad I picked Cordelia, and it gave a boner. Wow, can't believe I just said that...
Yes, perhaps Cordelia did still have some hesitations, but she clearly decided to give up on those hesitations (the Chrom she could never have) for the man who actually was in love with her [the Avatar] whom she clearly must have liked a lot as well [seeing that despite her hesitation she immediately thereafter she says something to the effect of [paraphrased] "Yes, I accept! Yes, with all that I am!" That's a REALLY enthusiastic response. My interpretation of the scene is that she thus probably really likes both Chrom and the Avatar at that point. But when the Avatar offers her the thing that Chrom never will, she chooses to embrace her newer love [the Avatar] over the older, unrequited one.
@@angeluscult2 To me, Robin and Cordelia's supports are the best: not only does she never mention Chrom, but her supports with Robin explored her past among the Pegasus Knights and involved Robin helping her overcome her grief; something none of her other supports do. It was great.
easy I've only had her as my wife only one time, the other times I've played through Awakening I've had Tiki, Lucina, Nowi, Chrom, Henry, Cordelia... Ok maybe I haven't played the game that many times y'see when you've played the game over and over again you seem too lost in your enjoyment that you forget about how many times have you gone through it
Second conversation, oh my sides, then melting heart. Why did Nintendo have to do it so damn perfect? Because to be serious, when everyone else is gushing over something, I usually could care less, here, not the case.
I like the idea of marrying Cordelia a lot more now that I've seen this I originally thought it would be stupid. Also anybody else watching this in 2018
during my first play through i married Anna but know that i'm in my second play through i'm trying to figure out who should i marry next? here are the options i'm listed out 1: Lucina 2: Say'ri 3: Tiki 4: Cordelia and 5: Olivia
+Rodrigo Romero True ;) Plus Lucina and Robin have some of the best dialogue in the game in their interactions, which I've noticed is a shared opinion amongst a lot of FEA players.
Probably putting the seashells onto a string or something and then wrapping/draping the string over the lance and tying it off...something like that I'd imagine.
I once fawned over female M.U b/c of her Galeforce, now that I know how romantic Cordelia x male M.U can be, I'm gonna do every playthroughs with them as husband and wife.
Hello man in 2019 here anyone else feel Corey's smugness at 4:25 I just imagine her doing the pose with her having one eye closed and sticking her tongue out
The first time I played this map, I did this support, Tharja and MU support, and after those two, just before the Cordelia and Tharja support, I thought wait Tharja's probably gonna be pissed at Cordelia. Then I got their supports. Oh Cordelia, you troller of a waifu, you...
Well, a luck asset is worth a +4 luck modifier. Severa/Morgan get an additional +1 just for being 2nd gen characters. But Cordelia herself has a -1 modifier. All of these mods get applied to Severa/Morgan. So they get 4+1-1 = +4 as their total luck modifier. Which brings them to 49 luck when maxed. Their weapons won't be indestructible unless they're paired up with someone (and are at the front), they've used a tonic, are under the effect of a rally that increases luck, or have a skill like All Stats+2 or Limit Breaker equipped, or are under the effects of a surge from the barracks.
