In the german version the C support is a bit different. Stahl's last line got changed to "I'm going to have to step up my game if I ever hope to take her as my wife!" My boy is a real go-getter in that one.
Look at these two sweethearts. One's a slacker; the other's a perfectionist; but neither feels good enough till their play their perfect duet at the end. I'm not crying or anything, nope. Especially not because Cordelia's one of the only people who accepts his gaffes. ;_;
Love this. Classic story of perfect girl falling for hunky guy, but not knowing and average guy falling for perfect girl and her not knowing. Average guy thinks he has no chance but eventually ends up with perfect girl. They're so cute together!
This pairing reminded me so much of myself. I liked this girl who played the clarinet, so for my independent study project, I learned how to play the clarinet :P. One of the last assignments for it was to play a duet, but I was never able to play it with her because she was also somewhat of a perfectionist like Cordelia - always aiming for really high marks.
I read almost all support convos with stahl this guy is way too nice and ships way too well with everyone. Stop being so awesome stahl you handsome devil.
If you do pair her with Stahl, pass down Luna from Stahl and Galeforce from Cordelia to make a heavy attacking Severa. Combo it off with her Sol she gets when promoted to Hero and she's a tank
She'll still get Luna if Vaike is her father. Vaike's Fighter Class line (I think, if not it's his Barbarian Class line) turns into the Knight Class line if he has a daughter. But if you're talking about how good the support conversations are, I couldn't care less if the resulting child unit becomes utter crap. Thankfully Severa is still pretty good with this pairing. Though no Axefaire. :(
I wouldn’t go for Galeforce if I were you, because Severa has the Pegasus Knight class. I would go for Sol and Swordfaire (Stahl has the myrmidon class), because Severa uses swords which is helpful.
They're both so humble, plus Cordelia is best girl and Stahl is the character I relate with most in Awakening. If it isn't Robin, then it's going to be Stahl.
Didn't Stahl mention it by the S conversation? Basically said he's known it from way before even. I think his support seems the most natural progression in terms of romance with Cordelia to me, he apparently loved her long before the game and you can see the premeditation from the first conversation between them.
Noooo! Why is he so damn compatible with everyone. I really wanted my MC with him. But damn, watching this pairing it make me feel he guilty. This is just so much better for them.
Na gotta pair Robin off with either Lucina or Tiki. Lucina because Morgan just destroys, and Tiki because you get a curb stomping Manakete. Plus those two pairings work well with Robin I'm (and extra laughs for banging your best friend's daughter)
Even though I ship Cordelia with Robin, I can’t but feel that her marriage to Stahl is canon. I mean Stahl was the one to help her get over her being rejected by Chrom and the two have a love of music. Plus they’re kind of polar opposites seeing Stahl os goofy, idiotic and positive while Cordelia is hard working, smart and sometimes deals with depression. Stahl is the perfect guy to help Cordelia deal with her insecurities and depression.
I wouldn't personally call Stahl idiotic: he may not be the brightest guy around, but he's not exactly stupid, either; him learning the harp basically on his own in this support chain shows he's actually fairly intelligent when he puts his mind to something. More than anything, he's extremely average (at least in his supports, anyways), and more do than that, really nice and laid back, which is why he tends to get along so well with most everyone he interacts with. That said, this support chain, as well as his supports with Miriel, show that if he's given sufficient motivation, he can actually be extremely driven when he wants to be -- it's just that compared to someone like Cordelia, whom is always giving her all in whatever pursuit she finds herself following and is naturally talented on top of that, Stahl doesn't measure up without putting in a great deal of effort. That's the whole theme of their supports: one is innately talented, but still feels inadequate, while the other is not as naturally gifted, but is able to catch up by way of working towards his goal
The only sad thing is that Cordelia gives up everything for Frederick in their ending and she unhappily has to let her skills falter because the recruits can't keep up with her. A real shame they did that to her if she marries Frederick as all her other paired endings say she's happy.
My favorite thing about this pairing is Stahl wants to score with her as soon as he meets her, so he picks up something that can grab her attention and doesn't give up.
Not that. It's a short conversation when they are on the battlefield. Severa asks her if she's okay, because she's seen the looks she gives Chrom which makes her worry about her own father. Cordelia then tells Severa not to worry about it.
Gah! I can't take it! Haha. I've never liked Cordelia. There is a support conversation between Severa and Cordelia about her still loving Chrom, and my opinion of her was shot. But, seeing this gives me a little hope. :D
Yes he is, Frederick always adored Cordelia as she's like a female and younger version of him in that she's perfect like him. Kindred souls and both are dedicated completely to Chrom's well being.
I thought she got over her feelings for Chrom if she married the Avatar (her confession's all I have as proof, I dunno if it's enough) because she says that she'll love the Avatar above all others.
I actually ended up pairing her up with Gaius. The whole haircut dialogue thing was funny and I figured his insane skill and speed would boost Severa's.
It's a bit disappointing for you, but you also find out that's basically the one support path where she really doesn't "get over" Chrom either. In that one, she basically takes Fredrick because he's going through the same thing for her as she is for Chrom.
Old Fire emblem tradition Lord gets a one Pegasus knight and the Christmas knights get the other two. Usually happens in a Fire emblem game. Plus this one is my favorites.
At least you aren't alone... To make myself feel better i just say its like having a crush when dating. You love who you're with but if you can't have them anymore... Just have to make sure it never comes to that. Plus what she said in the good ending made me feel better also when you are married.
Why are two of the characters I'm considering pairing with Cordelia both voiced by Sam Riegel? XD Guess there's a pretty good chance her husband's voice will give himself super strength.
Stahl and Cordelia are my favourite Awakening characters and their supports are unbelievably cute but I am physically unable to marry tyem to anyone but My Unit
Stat wise though, is it the best pairing? Cordelia's speed and skill are pretty low and Stahl's stat's aren't exceptional over all. I paired her with Gaius so that Severa could get a boost in skill and speed (although since Severa starts off as a myrmidon, inheriting Aegis from Stahl would have been handy).
Honestly, Stahl is arguably the best dad Severa can have overall, in my opinion. His stats are actually quite good overall, when looking at caps, and he does much more good than bad for her. The classes are also good as well: the cavalier line is solid thanks to granting access to the paladin, and luna is good as well, while the myrmidon is a class that Severa REALLY wants thanks to swordfaire and vantage to combo with vengeance. Pairing Cordelia with Frederick or Lon'qu are going to be the only other fathers that can really measure up, in my opinion, and they both have certain shortcomings that Stahl doesn't
She says that to everyone, but in support conversations on the battlefield with her and Severa, Severa asks about Cordelia's feelings for Chrom. I just lost a lot of respect for her.
