When I found out that Silque's VA sang this, I was worried Silque was going to die in rhe story near the end. I'm relieved she did not die.

Touching song of Mila's goodbye to all Valentia... Silque's va nailed it definitely better than Japanese version.

I almost forgot the beauty of this song. I prefer this over Edge of dawn and Lost in thoughts all alone because it doesn't just retell you the story but it's a song about what was after. Also the lyrics go so much smoother.

This song will always make me ugly cry. So much suffering, such a pointless war, yet in the end... There is hope for the future. At least, until Awakening happens and your learn of what United Valentia became.

It's a small thing, but Pheros' brief mention of once worshiping the Earth Mother in her battle dialogue with Chrom is heartwarming in retrospect; even though thousands of years passed, the people of Valentia never forgot all that Mila did for them.

This and Twilight of the Gods were undeniably the best songs in this game

I hope and pray we will get a fire emblem game as good as this one again. Character designs alone top anything else in the franchise. Everything about it is so tasteful and beautiful. Despite the archaic gameplay it's still an excellent game and experience. Really sad how a lot of the newer fire emblem crowd brushed this game aside when it came out, too.

All the recent Fire Emblem songs have been excellent but I love this one above all. The vocals are fantastic and the instrumentation gorgeous but above all, every single line of the English lyrics is pure poetry.

This is the best song to ever come out of Fire Emblem and I will die on that hill. The chord changes are absolutely gorgeous, the lyrics are powerful, it's just perfect. Brilliant piece of music

Confession: When this first came on as a credits theme I immediately muted it because I hadn't liked how it begun. I have since repented.

And this is why this is the best Fire Emblem. Not to mention it was a breath of fresh air for me after the waifuism of the previous two entries. Fates especially. That one had so much weird new stuff in it, it felt good to go back to something more familiar.

She gave her life so that I could live

Arcadia is the sacred land found by Athos and Nergal and is the place where Dragons and Humans lived together, man don't you just love fire emblem knowing they're all connected after thousands of years

One thing I absolutely love from Fire Emblem games in general is the music. It's always so gorgeous and it helps to be really immerged in the story.

I’m actually debating on downloading mp3’s before Nintendo strikes every song we hold dear.

This was honestly the best game ever Hands down best game with the best ending,i cried a little hearing this while looking at the credits,and the ending with the tree was the slice of cake for me

When this song started playing during the credits, my jaw dropped. I just sat on the couch and absorbed the beauty.

In an anime this would be perfect to be an Ending Theme. Imagine having this played after moments like the Spoiler in Cutscene 1. Or when Rudolf doesn't want to attack for some reason.

I mean Nintendo could literally just Upload their OSTs to Spotify/make one of those music artist channels, etc if they were that protective over their copyright. It would affirm their copyright, and make them some easy money

I'm surprised that this song hasn't inspired a wave of "OC Daughter of Mila" fanfiction. A Manakete CAN live thousands of years after all and it would be interesting to read an Awakening fic where the Shepards learn of Grima's true origins that were revealed in this game. Someone who was part of that first battle with Grima 2000 years ago would be able to explain it properly.

Since this is Mila singing, I want to mention that "Mila" in my language (Bulgarian) translates to kind, and I think it kind of fits in nicely.

It took me far too long (like seven listens) to realise that this is a song from Mila's perspective. A beautiful ending to a great game.

I love and hate nintendo at the same time

Even though there are people who dunk on Fire Emblem for becoming a "dating sim" (which I won't deny just based on the recent games having this as an option), without Awakening saving the series, we literally wouldn't be able to experience Gaiden and all the amazing things it has to offer as a remake in the form of Echoes.

Why is everyone saying it’s Silque’s song? It’s clearly Mila’s song. “I will sustain you”, “I am the earth I will make you strong” sung by the earth mother Mila. Just just cause it’s sung by Silque’s va doesn’t mean it’s Silque’s, Edge of Dawn isn’t sung by Edelgard’s va and it’s still Edelgard’s song.

Somehow this song ...it also fits the Blue Lions and Dimitri´s story in general very well...

This is my favorite game from the 3ds, I still remember the excitement of both getting it, playing and and finishing it. Truly one of the best FE games out there for me.
