It's so cheesy and fun I needed a game like this after constantly playing serious stuff.

I love how they didn’t even bother hiding the death of Alear’s mother.

I've always wanted an anime of the cola wars. Pepsi as the underdog protagonist against the forces of the Coke empire. Glad to see my dream come true.

The thing I like about Fire Emblem is how different the games feel compared to eachother. Like this is a complete different direction that 3H was and its really refreshing

SO EXCITED! I love that it seems to focus more on the gameplay aspects of FE, that is why I'm a fan of the series.

Fun gameplay but the story and characters were pure garbage.

Thank you Nintendo! I'm so happy to return to a more traditional Fire Emblem game. Please do this in future installments. Three Houses has its place but don't forget about the old-school fans that want the classic tactical gameplay. Loving Engage so far!

This game is so corny I love it

Been playing for a few hours, and so far I’m quite disappointed in the game’s story. After 3 Houses’ really unique story filled with countless characters who were immediately likable yet flawed, Engage feels like we’ve gone right back to formula. I’m hoping it can change my mind down the line.

I played this game now for 3 days and oh boy does the story suck It's extremely bad But the gameplay is amazing Way better than three houses It's just sad that they can never combine good writing with good gameplay

Love the old school Fire Emblem games on the 3ds and even enjoyed Fire Emblem: Three Houses. But this Engaged is so watered down in content compared to the other games. Don't get me wrong I still enjoy playing Engaged to a point. But didn't love it. I hope the next one you guys make will be more epic and not be even more watered down to this one.

Why can't we just have a fire emblem game again that's good on all fronts? Why is it that when the gameplay is at it's best, the story/Characters are majorly lacking (vice/versa)?

This may sound like a weird thing to be nitpicking (cause it technically is) But this game looks too vivid and cartoony in the graphics department. And also all tthe characthers look seem to have the same face , just with different eye colours.

To be honest I am so disappointed in engage.. We went from a good story to a bland one.. From major player to choices ( classes mastery etc) to basically the same boring linear unit progression.. The support conversions are just awful.. At least the emblem rings bring some nostalgia ( the only reason I even play this game).. I really wanted to like this but I won't praise a game just because it has better graphics (for me 3 houses were better but I'll go with the flow for this one) . This is a step backwards for the fe series unfortunately..

I'm around half way done and liking the game so far. I prefer the more strategy focused gameplay of older Fire Emblem games so I like this way more than Three Houses.

This looks like the natural progression for the series. Not every game can be a huge Three Houses style event, but at least they kept the gameplay and made it linear. While I probably won't play it, I am interested to see how it goes.
