A Spokane Valley Fire investigator confirmed through some simple tests that heating hand towels in microwaves have been the catalyst for two recent house fires. KXLY4's Erik Loney reports.
30 years ago I threw a partially wet microwaved towel on top of a woodpile when it was snowing pretty heavy outside and later I found that several of the logs had significant surface burns.
