Hey awesome run as always. Quick question. How many targets minimum to flamestrike. I tend to flamestrike when I see at least 3 but I feel it might not be optimal. Thanks

5+ generally, 4 is equal so better to do prio damage if there's a big mob

You just press it once. It's off GCD anyway so you don't have to press the button all the time in order to avoid wasting a few milliseconds of time for your next gcd

hey does fire need specific stats to do more damage than arcane in overall ? my mage asa fire does lower dps compare to arcane im trying to figure it out what is the issue

Fire is much easier to get into personally. Fewer buttons and you got no arcane charges you have to look out for. Both specs are really fun!

Fire is very mobile, I think it is easier to deal with mechanics as fire. Your spec will be important to do AOE damage. I’ve heard flamestrike builds for lower keys, and ignite cleave build as you progress to higher keys

⁠@@LordChinn it’s more like don’t run ignite cleave build in lower keys bc packs die too quick for you to ramp. It’s not that ignite build is better in higher keys. From what I’ve seen most of the top fire mage keys so far play the hybrid build and flame strike 4-5+ packs and pyro
