Fire Mage Live Duel Commentary Session 5.4.7 

Here's another duel session for you guys. This is a "longer" video compared to my usual uploads, so don't feel obligated to watch the whole video. Added my webcam this time; It will help you see and understand my finger and combo movements as well which some of you guys requested. Let me know what you think!

In just 2 years, you went from being 1700 when 1700 was easier to get to being a 2600 rated rank one player. Very impressive and it gives me hope that I can also become good soon.

Combat's killing spree makes 7 swift assaults within 2.5 sec. During the time, he's immune to CC (You didn't 'miss' DB he immuned it). If you can preblock the KS it's all good. The reason though why he pressured you so much is because you blocked right AFTER the KS giving him 30 sec of Hypothermia to use his Blades + Adrush on you. You'll be surprised at how awful combat's damage is outside CDs :> Overall amazing vid, props for the webcam aaand have a good day!

Hansol during the duel vs the combat rouge he was running burst of speed so he doesn't have shadow step. His burst ability killing spree causes him to teleport behind with you and deal 7 attacks. Even if you waited for him to appear in front of you he is immune to cc during these few seconds

You seem like a really cool laid back humble dude, subscribed. Plus you made me want to roll a fire mage(he's like lvl 50 :/), I may not be as good as you I'm still learning how to counter other classes and I main a rogue so going from rogue to mage is a huge transition. Hey, just to ask, do u start at WASD keys? or ESDF or other? That used for moving but give more space for more key binds, did u use different?

By the way i love the duel videos with commentary helps me understand first person on how to duel specific classes better. I noticed you didn't find a higher ranked hunter to duel though. So i was curious if you could maybe make a guide for 1v1 hunter? because i don't think i even saw stampede in that hunter duel or deterrence. anyways love the videos you make and as you say to your viewers keep burning shit.

I have a question Hansol The Pyromaniac When you poly any character with a pet then inferno blast the pet how does the inferno blast no catch the owner of the pet in the blast radius bringing say the dk, lock, or hunter out of poly because it seemed like the inferno blast would hit them at a close range. and i seem to have a problem where i Dragons Breath into poly then get proc from the pet but the inferno blast pops the owner out of poly...

When you were fighting that combat rogue he was actually using killing spree not shadow step on you and it makes him immune for a few seconds :)

Hey hansol, first time i watched your videos was at the start of 4.3, i wanted to roll a mage and looked for a fire mage tutorial on youtube. Anyways i remember you had alot of videos that i can't find on your channel anymore, some even from early 2011 if i'm not mistaken, what happened to those videos man? Would be really cool if you could upload them for old times sake :D

I like that you didn't livestream while ur dueling, cause your talking more to the people ingame. So annoying to watch people when they don't talk to anyone, just focusing on the stream. I mean... when you see people like Hansol ingame you really want them to have some contact with you :)

Hansol, how do you fight a hunter if you don't open with dragon's breath? Without that, I find that I am absolutely fucked. By the time I can even manage a poly I've been quickly worn down to at least half health and sometimes being forced to ice block. And I find that if I do open on hunters with dragon's breath, they all get into some frantic rage where they insist they get an opener on the "OP fire mage".

Alright so I have a question for everyone. As a Fire Mage, my crit chance is about 50% with Critical Mass, so I crit all the time. The problem is, these pyroblasts do little to no damage. Anything I can do to remedy this?
