the beginning part that jake is singing is about when he tried to take his life and that's how let it burn was written when he was in the hospital. and then for lø spirit idk a whole bunch by them but im pretty sure the part he sings is when he also tried to take his life.

Jake attempted suicide in 2016, he wrote the lyrics to the band's song "let it burn" onto a napkin, this was before the band ever formed. Jake's segment tells his story. "Born in 2016" is meant to mean his old self died and who he is today was born in that moment. As for Lø Spirit I don't know anything about him so I couldn't say anything about his segment.

Honestly man, they help me out so much, and with me living so close to the band as well as Jake Sagura (lead singer) actually going to school to be a therapist. I know how it feels to want to take your own life and to try to take your own life, man I've walked through hell a couple times and still made it out stronger than before but with the fact that he is going to be a therapist and he only lives 30 miles away from me I'm actually going to start seeing him as a therapist.

When it comes to mental health, Citizen Soldier is by far the best

I love Citizen Soldier, They have helped me through a very tough time in my life, All of their songs speak straight to your heart. Just seen them in concert with Royal Bliss and it was awesome

CS has officially become my soul band lol. I've always loved music but never have I ever felt so close and connected to a band before. Never have I ever felt that someone knew the shit going on inside me. I live with epilepsy, seizures for those that don't know what it is. I'm 27, have really bad seizures everyday and I can't do the things that everyone else can do. I can't get a job, can't drive, can't socialize with the world without fear of having a seizure in public. Would Anyone Care, was the first song I found and it saved my life. And the day this song came out I had everything packed up and was ready to just runaway so that my parents and brothers didn't have to deal with my seizures, my burden anymore. Never have I ever been that close to doing something stupid before, but then boom I see this song and I break down. Truly this band is a godsend.

This is why I love the genre of music I do. Usually uptempo to where I can just lose my shit and be inside my own world. Most people don't like my music bc it has screams but people don't understand there are twists where they hit us with a slow beat with really deep lyrics that hits us in the face and feels. One sec im jamming out and the next it just hits different. Granted im lucky I've never been suicidal and I understand it's a real issue in the world i lost my uncle when I was a kid to suicide. Song is beautiful from start to finish, job well done

this song is really how ive been feeling lately. im 22 years old and was in group homes and juvey most my life. even after getting my shit together, getting engaged, and having a daughter i still feel like this. you just have to find something thats worth fighting for. mine is my daughter and fiance. nice video man. keep up that grind. almost at 100k
