Here's the duels verse the highest rated Shadow Priest. Unfortunately, he seems like a busy guy so we weren't able to get as many duels as I had hoped; I wasn't too happy with how this episode turned out and wasn't as motivated to get super creative with the editing on this one compared to other ones, but I guess I'll take it as a learning experience. Sick video dude! I main a ret and a shadow priest, and I know for sure you could beat a shadow priest, there terrible in 1v1 almost always, it really sucks lol. But I think a ret would be hard due to all the freedoms and magic damage reductions they have. Itd be a good duel to see you face vanguards
In MoP most of all hybrid classes need to run away and LoS in order to heal and recover to stay up in the fight. Without LoS, most hybrid classes are inferior to pure damage classes. Unfortunately, that's the way you need to play a hybrid class here now in MoP... Fight, run, fight, run...
bkiser101 ehh, you're right on warrior, Rogues are the easiest because most i face don't know what they're doing, DKS are a bit hard but if i can get like 2 orbs i can burst them down real easy
A good shadow priest wins from a mage any day, just not in an open area. So, this doesn't reflect match apart from the fact that mage is unstoppable killing machine while target is in DF.
Awesome Duel, but it seem that only Wizk can defeat you by taking advantage of the house to hide and escape your dmg. Later, owe you…but if you both are at large vast area, you seem to win all. Kinda weird lol?
Yup. Pretty much, but it's not his fault. It's how shadow priests are made. He is one of the best spriests at the moment (if not the best). I fight him in 3s and he is very skilled.

okay so hansol, i think you'd find it alot harder to beat spriest on your human mage. Will of the forsaken is pretty op against spriest, having to sit a full fear makes a huge difference, i only win about 50% of the time.
its so hard to solo a mage, they just have so much cc available and I feel the only way to win as a shadow priest is to keep your dots up and los the mage as much as possible.
rip wiz, in an open world without los an spriest doesn't stand a chance against a mage, especially one as skilled as hansol. If it were WotLK than shadow priest would have stood a much higher chance.
Is it juts me or does Wizk let Hansol keep his Piro procks too often? If I remember correctly, priests it didn't use too much mana since I spammed it in arenas when against a druid heal.
lol I remember telling wiz that his class isn't that much skill - at high rating no1 is gonna interrupt ur dots only thing shadowpriest have o worry about is positioning and cc - wiz is no match for hansol I don't think any1 expected much different.
dino plejka I wont reply to you with a book but I would like for you to know hansol plays fire and the mages that play with wiz play frost. The rating difference is only about 25 rating as I post this comment and hansol has not really played as many games nor do I think hes achieved his highest rating of the season yet. also dibbz is 2714 cr and wiz is 2731 cr. you seem very disturbed and confused.

Well you have said in previous video's that spriest are the easiest for you as fire. Looks as though to win all he has to do is kite and heal, without los he's as good as dead.
not to hate on this guy he looks like a great player but its gonna be really hard to live up to the duels you had with iconicus these duel videos just arnt the same after watching those.... I think i have a broken epic fuse...
sad to say i think this vid doesnt match the others by a long shot. the duels didnt match the quality of the ones vs. for example the warrior or the feral, and ofcourse they wont, since priest is a weaker class with less counters against mages. keep up the good work, and i hope that the next vid will be abit more entertaining, since this one is not one i will rewatch.
Yeah, I agree. I'm not satisfied at all with this episode. Not only is fighting Shadow not that interesting, but also we weren't able to shoot many scenes due to how busy he is with queueing arenas and all that. This is bound to happen with some episodes though with how the game is made. Fighting every class won't be the same. I still have a couple of interesting classes to fight next, so don't worry!
Zingo Ringo i mean in duels. Its so easy to interrupt them and they almost have no chance to burst. In teamfights yeah. Once my dps trinket is ready and 3orbs + insanity = 85% off all enemies are down (single target of course^^)
I've never seen the macro where you going backwards good idea you could use it to increase the range of your pyroblast or fake someone out or lose the cast of your enemy because they maxed out their range especially since pyro has the longest range
i play shadow since wotlk.....atm u cant beat a fire mage without los dem alot. fire cc is kinda ridiculous so los is the way to win vs fire. but hansol ure the man ! keep it up
Wait a second, what is this spriest smoking? Mindbender as spriest?! VS A MAGE? DA FUCK?! And he trinkets the burst deepfreeze? WTH, you must dispers that shit or you get burned down anyway. You trinket second deep or if the mage fake bursts with first deep only.... Man I am so dissapointed by the way this Spriest played. I can understand why he didn't take mind flay insanity cause you'll lock him but then take the damn procs cause they are awesome vs a mage especially, you can't spell steal that shit through all his hots. I wish you would play another spriest, I don't care about his rating but his dueling tactics were odd as fuck and obviously ineffective.
I would agree with you, but your arguing against the rank one shadow priest lol. Another thing, the DoT setup isn't very good in 1v1s for priests, only insanity is, but he can't run insanity because priests can never channel it 1v1. I'm at about 2.1k mmr on my priest and I don't bother doing 2v2 or 1v1, we need to do 3s since we have LOS and two people to peel the living shit out of is 24/7 Shadow priests are terrible right now in terms of 1v1, the only way he could actually do a tiny bit of damage is by running mine bender. And plus, renew ticks for about like 5k lol, plus you can't spam it because it's not an instant 5k heal when you click it And prayer of mending just sucks for shadow priests unless you have the glyph, And if he disperses the deep freeze, the Mage can just take complete control over him and probably kill him without a deep freeze afterwards lol This priest is an amazing player, it's just how shadow priests are right now, we aren't what we used to be like in cata
Dude, I already said it, I don't care he is rank 1, his dueling strategy was flawed and didn't work. Shadow priests were never the kings of 1v1, but as I said, he could have done alot better. And NO, he didn't disperse the burst deep freeze and see what happened? He got controlled the whole duel cause he was low hp already. Had he used disperse on burst deepfreeze he would have been in great shape. How the fuck does mind bender do more damage than mind spike procs? I already said you can't use insanity efficiently in 1v1 esp vs a mage. He also slowed the mind bender most of the time and he couldn't even do the damage to Hansol rofl. Procs are just the best way to go vs a mage, vs anybody really. Imo we used to be in worse shape in cata appart from having mind control and mana burn at our leisure. But now being able to cast the HoTs in shadow form, instant procs so no need to even cast mind blast most of the time ( it was such a damn pain to cast mindblast in cata versus decent people, everytime RNjesus gave you shadow orbs and you fake casted interrupt and then got Empowered shadows and refreshed dots for more damage, what did mages do? Iceblock and remove them haha, meeles like rogues, unholy and warriors weren't any easier for us, we usually resorted to DP spamm with full cds, now with procs life is so much better... ), then we got another nice heal divine star. Psyfiend is like amazing, in 5.0.5 it was OP as hell, now all you need to do is just shield him if you see he gets focused. I'd say we are in better shape, not the best shape, but better . ( I wish we still had casting SW:D when we wanted and or Masochism effect at least... also could have kept Dark Archangel as well perhaps in some other form cause our mana regen still sucks in 1v1, oh and I miss DP spamm haha, tho SW:P does like instant damage now so it's kinda the same to a lesser extent but hey that's why we got procs, I HATE ORB BASED PSYCHIC HORROR HOWEVER ) I am dead serious right now, Mages do dominate Spriests, but this Spriest could have done ALOT better. His dispels were at least pretty ok. It was a poor display from the spriest. Gratz for rank 1 but he obviously didn't map out the duel very well.

I mean good vid that 3rd duel was almost unwatchable I hate that playstyle but I guess he has to do it to win you cant blame him I don't but its frustrating and annoying to fight against
dots and run, thats the only way spriest can kill, from lich king. in open area without fucking trees and stuff like that, which makes u los, hes falling down like a chicken

No one can global anyone anymore. A "global" is 1.5 seconds, 1 second for a lot of classes. It takes Hansol at least 10 seconds to drop him. The priest would drop him just as fast if not for the retarded amount of mage cc. A global is dying in an ambush/backstab from a rogue in Vanilla, or a POM pyro mage 1 shotting you from full. Not dying in 10 seconds from 5 pyroblasts and living bomb and a fireball and a combustion.
