@@MatthewScottmusic It's all fairly hard and too late, but if you have a kid, maybe introduce the advancement of music to him as it went. To feel the impact of each innovator, you may create a Mozart :-) Start with the good classical. EVH played music to Wolf in the womb and look at that guy Lol

i now gotta 50,s series daphne blue strat, adjust neck in the heel,its beautiful,an plays like geasy parkay margarine..allmost too narrow for my huge hands..but i have it,...for now..2018 model like new....

I just discovered this awesome youtube channel. I was never the biggest fan of people fetishizing "vintage" in a brainless fashion, but damn... Every single time Matthew pulls off a killer tone, and something tells me it's not just because he's a great guitarist. Funny thing tho : my primary interest in guitars is resonators, and there I never thought that the vintage interest was a problem, because I heard right away that vintage originals were awesome instruments. Matthew showed me that the same can be applied for electrics as well.
