Attic Chat Productions shot, produced, and completed post production for this training video which was distributed to all fire districts in Lee County, Florida. It demonstrates a new, county-wide firefighter mayday SOG.

On duty crews from the Fort Myers Fire Department and personnel from South Trail, Iona McGregor, Bonita, North Fort Myers, Bayshore, Lee Countrol (Dispatch), and the Fort Myers Fire Academy all helped to make this video effective.
One of my routines is to do a "mental mayday" at the beginning of shift. I imagine scenarios where I'm in a mayday and say a mayday to myself. Like he said, you only have one chance to call a mayday. It may be you, it may be your partner, it may be a firefighter you come across.
