My Brother's, Sisters, and I of Saratoga Volunteer Fire Department would like to say thank you for the tribute, it truly means a lot to use. God Bless and Stay Safe.
In basic training I learnt that firefighters dont judge only save. I'll be the judge now and tell you " Thanks for saving images of Firefighters doing their Job". I whish you all a shift without calls. Much love from germany.
It's a feeling you can't explain I became a firefighter a year ago in Puerto Rico I'm 21 years old and I remember that day in first grade when I decided I wanted to become a firefighter like my fatherto serve those in need a greeting to all the fellows firefighter❤️👨🚒
Volly firefighter here. Wasn't a callout, just stopped at a fatal first on scene besides the cars right behind the accident. 2 car 1 motorbike/cycle whatever you want to call them. Didn't even recognize the downed rider, busy dealing with fuel, entrapment of a lady and husband trying to get her out when he couldn't. Car on it's side. Turned around to see someone (a nurse on her way home like me) playing with debris.... it was the rider. Shaken me a bit, but this helped to keep me going. Thank you! It's not what happens, it's how you deal with it... off to chill out and listen to music but thanks. Tones drop, i'm off. Thanks again :) Means a lot!
I would like to thank everyone one who makes the tribute videos to the first responders yall make my day I use to be a fire/ems for 3 years but got in with the wrong group and did time in the pin so at the moment I am not fire and emt but I plan on going back to it and want to thank yall for doing these
This means soo much to my family, My oldest son is a 6th generation Cal Fire firefighter, and every man in his family who had joined prior to him has passed away in the line of duty, he always cries when he sees these videos and he lives with extreme sadness for a fellow firefighter his friend from childhood that he couldn't save, now he has made it his life goal to save everyone no matter what, just like his father.
Currently im a cadet, hopefully becoming a full time. I plan on getting my emt paramedic while working volunteer. The tribute has given me great motivation. Thank you
As a teen it is my dream to be a paid fireman. Currently a volunteer. I wanna be inside the big fires when needed. My grandfather was one for 30 years and my cousin is a cheif. Fire fighting is in my blood. I will work to be one till death.
I witnessed a fireifghter die it was huge a huge fir of 8 warehousing they where all huge biggest fire I have seen a lot of fire and that was the biggest there was around 80 fire engines 20 ladders 40 cops 70 medics it was hell smoke everywhere ladder truck gets someone in the roof before he is in the roof he falls falls through the roof into the fire... me and my buds like to watch and see or stuff fires police stuff crashes and stuff and we have a scanner a thing that tells the radio the last words I hear well everyone heard was “help me.. I fell through the roof it’s hell in here send some help! Help dispatch help me..”
My husband is a very proud Ret. Firefighter/Paramedic. He's always told me being a firefighter isn't a job ( It's calling from God). The same reason I became a N.Y.P.D officer. Some people in the Government want to refund us. But they're the first ones to bi#$h when we don't get there in a couple of minutes.
