08.31.2021 | 9:30 AM | SOUTH LAKE TAHOE - Firefighters spent Tuesday morning defending homes as raging flames lick the side of the homes. Firefighters were bracing for predicted high winds in the afternoon. The entirety of South Lake Tahoe remains evacuated. The Fire continues to grow out of control, fueled by the high winds and heavy timber.

I've heard a lot of people complaining how their Tahoe Labor day plans are ruined due to the Caldor fire. Oh please. If anyone deserves some good R&R, it's the brave men and women who are making sure your vacation homes are still standing.

I spent the month of July there in South Lake with my sister. This is so tragic. I am so so great full fir the firefighters who have saved the homes of my family and friends. I will be forever grateful!
