Im a young brazilian and your musics and messages are helping me to go through the pain and the anxiety. I first discovered Fireflight in their earliest days at the Last Wave Christian club in Orlando FL. Been a fan for almost 20 years and this is one of their best songs. The album this came from, For Those Who Wait, is a soundtrack for anyone who is struggling.
I have met Dawn twice and she is awesome. I love that she is so down to earth. I also love her transparency. She is such an inspiration and I am thankful I found Fireflight's music. God bless you all!
I hope one day I get to meet her too. I’m so thankful this band exists. It was there for me in middle school and high school when I was depressed and it’s here now that I’m going to therapy to sort out my trauma.
This is such a beautiful thing. I love what this band is about. Their musicianship is unparalleled. They can rock with the best of them and I absolutely love their sound... but their heart for people is what really stands out to me. It's not fake or "put on." It's real and genuine and truly touching to me. My kids and I love Fireflight and we totally rock down the road in our car with them turned up loud. I am so glad that my girls have such an amazing group to listen to. Thank you Fireflight!
This video has encouraged me during this dark time in my life right now. This woman is amazing, her love for her savior is so obvious and it expresses itself in love for those who are hurting those that need Him the most. I have been apart from God for about 2 years, I can say im atheist but when I listen back to this song. something inside of me make me feel peace. my favorite song ever.. since the begining love firefligh... best band ever... and im here in 2020 listening this beautiful song.
Wonderful message, thank you. I've been through a very hard time myself over the past few years, feeling like my world was just falling apart on all fronts. And I realised that ignoring the past, especially my childhood and family related issues and trying to never look back, didn't help me move on. I started doing counceling ,which I never thought I would, and my councelor helped me realise that I need to face my past, and work through my personal problems and traumas with prayer, patience, persistence and faith in God in order to move on. And I can now say that God has truely always stood by me, and that I now feel like I am prepared for all He has planned for me. So, if you feel like you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do, and you don't feel like you can reach out to the people around you, ask God for help and have faith in God's mercy and love for you. Also, please consider reaching out and being open to professional help, if you are fortunate enough to have that oppertunity.

Thank you guys for doing this! Seriously listening to this and watching and hearing Dawn made me cry. I've been trying to heal and its hard, BUT knowing that it took Dawn a year to get through counciling and it saved her, gives me hope and knowing that I too can and will heal through this!!! I can't say thank you enough!!!
What I've Overcome has been one of my favorite songs since the first time I heard it. We all have past. We all have overcome or are overcoming something. Sometimes it's just easier to forget what exactly that something is... but I like what Dawn said, remembering each fall and knowing that God caught me. Why would we want to ever forget each and everytime God caught us? He's what makes us better. He's why we are living. I'm glad that you made this video!! God bless!!
Your heart really comes through in your music. So does the real rawness of someone who has fought those deep spiritual battles. You played an important part when my wife was working the trauma of her past being an SRA survivor. I love you guys to but i justvwamted younto know you played a big role in that process for her. Dont stop doing what you do.

Oh my god this video is absolutely touching my heart deep inside my soul, Dawn opening herself to the crowd in every concert that she have seen in her life, but Dawn Michele is so adorable and her eyes is just as pretty as her cute face, but she is absolutely beautiful, but it's a good thing God call her name every time and giving her his kindness and blessed her pure soul, it's changing these innocent life even though God hand will bring her burden but she letting that pour out her heart from within, but overall this video is so wonderful and it's making my heart pour out from inside, but people cannot suffer the faith for eternity, but this is a touching video I've seen in my entire life.

Dawn, You totally speak the truth. writing i feel helps me better because you can say what you want and you can make sure you say EVERYTHING you want, a quick chat you could forget a ton of things you may want to say and just brain fart it all, and you want to get it out so quick you miss the point in what you were trying to make. im glad you do what you do and you are a strong woman, please keep doing what you do, you have probably changed so many lives. keep it up :) and see you in July :)

Just so you know. I have always considered the small jig-jig at 1:50 in the OG 'Forever' song one of the finest moments in Christian rock. Tempo changes are everything in a sermon.
I'm a huge fan of Fireflight I love their music I don't care that they're Christians but what I like about them is that they're not like many Christians that judge people on their religion and they have my respect and support.
