As a person who only managed to catch the first season, I find this amazing purely because this was the guy who tried to set Lan's house on fire, now working side by side with him.
It's worse in the games. The first one he tries to burnndown your house and the third he comes back with a revenge plot to kill your dad and everyone at Scilab as revenge and than in 4 he's free and openly fighting in a public tournament for some reason...
