I cried a little for uki's shoulder at 0:16, please don't let your students try to breakfall for those throws... ^_^

Don't worry, it was just a bit for the video. Nick is an experienced grappler, and could handle the fall.

@@BlackSunBoxing It is a terrible habit I see a lot of judo players have when they move into more wrestling takedowns, they try to breakfall at the strangest times, something to watch out for!

What he's doing is akin to cartwheeling out of the fall into a roll. He's not being spiked on his arm. He knew the fall was coming and was prepared for it. We don't do this in class at all. He is one of my training partners.
