What a grace that the Rodriguez family has a priest and layman doing this holy work together. You must have had very holy parents that raised you right. Thank you also of course to Fr. Mawdsley and your wisdom.

When I converse with supporters of Medjugorje, they never immediately give the Glory to God nor credit to the Sacraments for any conversions. They say that it is Medjugorie. When they are saving for their next trip there, I remind them that Jesus, with Mary by His side is as near as the nearest tabernacle where a valid consecration has taken place. They won't even respond to that. Recently, when I stated that 99% of those that support Medjugorje don't even know the history of Medjugorie, a woman said that "we have our experiences". That is scary...their "feelings" now trump Church authority and truth. They become very angry if you don't aslo believe and accuse you of not loving Mary and risking the disfavor of God for not believing in Medjugorje. I believe that it is a cult.

Fatima, Portugal and Quito, Ecuador - these are my go-to Marian Apparitions.

Parishes used to have processions and novena prayers to the Saint the Parish was named after - when that stopped, a lot was gone - it was a sad mistake. How can we bring that back? Where I live (on Parish property!) there used to be a yearly procession outside in honor of Our Lady of Fatima - crowds attended and now nothing! Terrible loss...God bless & thankyou...

I have recently returned to the old devotions which were not dead, they were just dormant. Fatima has always been in my heart thank God with what is going on today - so many mixed messages - People could read for years, certain writings from a mystic not approved and suddenly come across the darker writings - they will be totally stunned after putting so many years into it. Why these writings are out prior to approval, is beyond me - some have purchased 3 revisions (and another coming) of these writings. We don't need all the wrong things in our minds and souls! Fr Mawdsley is right to bring our attention to this. Lourdes is also another beautiful apparition - my mom watched the older movie almost every day for many years! Excellent talk. People have gotten mad at me and even angry because I refuse to follow unapproved Marian apparitions like Medjugorje and Garabandal. Our Lady of Fatima… Pray for us.

I went to Garabandal with Fr. Gruner and his Fatima tour group, even though Garabandal was not listed on the itinerary. Fr. Gruner had gone there as a very young priest when the "apparitions" were at the height of their fame, and you can still find some film footage of him there with the little girls and some photos. But this time there were troublesome incidents which occurred such that it was obvious that if it had been holy at the time of the 'apparitions,' it now needed exorcism prayers.

Medjugori "seers" do not live exemplary lives.

I live on Mt. Carmel and I've taken the Brown scapular. My priests are Carmelites. Saying that just made me realise something about my daily life.

We must take care not to veer off from the reason for Marian & any church approved apparitions. In as beautiful & inspirational as they are, and they are beautiful & inspirational, we must stay focused on the reason for the apparition ....to open the door of our hearts to our Lord, Jesus Christ.❤ Blessed be the name of The Lord.

I really enjoyed this program. I’ve been hanging out with a group of people who are trying to understand the devotion of the divine will. I like what was said here. I think it’s important to always pray for holy wisdom clarity and understanding and for the Holy Spirit to guide us and help us in our discernment of what we are called to do. I like the idea of sticking to definitely approved material from the church. But I can see how easy it is to get caught up in distractions. I hope you continue to have some programs that can touch on the same issues with more priests. They also have the same point of view us towards the sacraments.

Your talk was very insightful, I appreciate you all. I see all the “click bate” videos of unapproved apparitions, sometimes people are fooled, they are taken in. If they hear the truth but simply will not accept it because of pride or stubbornness then they are in error. Sometimes I think it’s a matter of pride like on the case of Luisa P. She had some weird stuff going on with her, but seems to me a certain man defended her authenticity because he couldn’t humble himself to the truth about her. And I like the guy he’s a well spoken intelligent guy, I guess we all have are defects.

Thank God for such sound teaching! I am so tired of all these distractions of this vision, this locution etc that just leads to distractions that are creepy. Just got back from an Ignatius retreat and have gotten back to the love of God and am centered on Him.

Fr. Mawdsley, do you accept Divine Mercy and writings of St. Faustina? I find it questionable that Christ would talk to her all the time and told her that she was as high as the Blessed Virgin.

The 2024 calendar from America Needs Fatima has a different feast or title of Mary for every single day! Today it is "Queen of the May."

Pope Francis is about to have a committee decide what apparitions to ignore--any one that tells us to repent for fear of hell.

Thank you for this perspective. With much of the hierarchy being untrustworthy, it’s a confusing time. I think Fr. Mawdsley’s knowledge of the (awful) practices of the occult societies gives him extra insight into how we can be deceived. I have done a little informal examination of these societies and the experiences of faithful Catholic exorcists as well, and I agree with him that some of these newer apparition phenomena do sound possibly diabolical. Thank you for this video which will help me in discernment.

I personally I do not believe in the madgerguria (I don't know the spelling ). Those two videos Father James Maudsley did about the divine will the first video I watch part of it. I could not finish watching it it is too much for me, too gross for me. The second video about the divine will I did not even click on it. It is way too much for me. Even Giorgio Bongiovanni which had the stigmata talked to Mary supposedly. His messages create a whole new theology. The level of deception is huge inside and outside the church by imposters and infiltrators.

I believe that the Garabandal children really did see Our Lady. I may be wrong, but Padre Pio seems to have had confirmation from heaven that it really was our blessed Mother.

I don't believe Garabandal either. I went there a couple years ago as part of a longer trip. Garabandal is empty. The few people who live there do not go to mass. A local priest said the mass for us and he told us that nobody in Garabandal goes to mass and he was very sad. It's not a holy place.

Wow! Not good. Because you are priests, listeners might think you represent the Catholic Church. You do not, correct? The Catholic Church does not tell me to “Stick with approved apparitions; nor does it advise against my promoting unapproved apparitions. I know that the Garabandal apparitions are God’s extraordinary work, and I know how I know. My certainty is God’s special gift. It is of the same nature as my certainty that Jesus founded a church, that he is present, true God and true man in the Blessed Sacrament and other truths. Fr. Tenant Wright, speaking for the theology department at Santa Clara University confirmed this. An experience during my first stay in the village provoked, “There is something important here. I will keep my eyes and ears open and will pray a lot (but not try to figure it out).” I learned more from eyewitnesses, the visionaries, and from books in Spanish and English that collaborate my conviction, but the basis for the certainty remains. Do your speakers know anything at Garabandal that does not meet your own stated Church criteria for authenticity? Your speakers don’t seem to appreciate my faith. And their “stick with approved apparitions” and other comments imply we should not pay attention to the Garabandal messages. They could pay dearly for this. Belgian Father Materne Laffineur (RIP 11/28/1970) with whom I spent two afternoons in July 1970, was a Church investigator of the 1932-33 apparitions at Beauraing. He made it known that those who put obstacles in the way of the Garabandal messages being made known would pay dearly for it in eternity. F. Sanchez Ventura explains the Belgian priest’s reasoning. On pages 154-5 of “The Apparitions of Garabandal” (1967 7th U.S. edition) he describes what is in store for those who put obstacles against apparitions. He writes: “More than ninety thousand people are estimated to have stayed home on the day of the [Fatima] miracle, deaf to the Blessed Virgin’s appeal, due to others who brought to bear on them powers that lay beyond their real attributes and forbade them to believe in ‘visions’. . . Perhaps some of those souls, whose lives were bound to have changed had they but seen the miracle, are now deprived of God’s presence because they followed that unfortunate piece of advice. What a responsibility for those who were truly to blame.” Ventura shows that some have done the same in dissuading people from responding to Garabandal. The above is my translation from the original which seems more forceful in, “El Interrogante de Garabandal.” Laffineur, Sanchez Ventura and I know, and rely upon, an infallible source, which went further than warning not to put up obstacles. This source makes it known that there will be a severe consequence if we do not make the messages given at Garabandal known. I will leave that penalty up to God, but on my awful judgment day I would not want to be any of you unless you correct your errors.

Another video which strays wildly from Fatima and clouds Fatima with babble about other apparitions. The Fatima Center has lost its way since Fr. Gruner's death.
