I really hope they continue to utilize Fireteam Osiris. The concept of them is amazing as Bucke and John are two different men and could offer such a unique experience from that alone however I think the backlash from Halo 5 will kill any usage of them
I hope you can still see these comments. I’ve been following and listening to various video game soundtracks since I was in sixth grade, back in 11’. You’ve done a phenomenal job- one of the best of many of the soundtrack channels I’ve come across in my years in RU-vid. Progress may be slow at times- but never quit. Especially since halo infinite is soon to come out :).
Yeah I definitely still see all these comments (replies can sometimes slip through the cracks, but I receive notifications for every single new comment). Thank you for the kind words! It’s incredibly humbling to hear that my channel is worth being part of other people’s soundtrack listens! Also, you know that I’m gonna be all over Infinite’s soundtrack once the game comes out! ;D
Honestly, I thought that the ost for Halo 5 was awesome (in a way, I found it more interesting than Halo 4's soundtrack! ...don't hunt me down 343), and this was one of my favorite tracks . The combination of the different versions of their theme is really epic :D
For me it depends. For the tracks I like in H5, I enjoy them considerably more than the tracks I like in H4. However, for the tracks I don’t care about as much in H4, I tend to like them (or at least find them more memorable) than the ones I’m indifferent to in H5. I guess it’s kind of a “higher highs and lower lows” type deal... Regardless of overall thoughts, the Osiris themed tracks definitely fall under that category of tracks I really like, and I also love how they sounded when stitched together! Thanks for watching! :)
Ech, I can't really choose. I like some Halo 2, but the general, orchestral music is where I like Halo 3 better. and the Flood too. Halo 4 and 5 nail the technological aspect and the amazed feeling of a giant UNSC ship, just like Beyond a Pale Horse did.
lolslayer I thought it was appropriate for the game, it was the battle of earth after all. Previous games didn't have much UNSC bases, and if you listen closely, most military music was based on Halo 2. I just liked the flood music there better that kind of was my point.
AverageGuard Lucas True, it was better for halo 3, but that's excactly the reason why I didn't like the halo 3 campaign that much, halo 2 was very mysterious and gave the feeling of exploration lust, that's why it was so great, that feeling was gone in halo 3 and I really missed it
