Great video guys! Phil you would look good in one of those Bobcats I think! Keep saving those chunks! We sell all that we make, hardwood and softwood. Had your video playing in the tractor while I was loading the processor with my Bluetooth connected and the next thing I knew Phil was singing “this is how we do it”😂nice radio voice Phil!
Wish I’d have gone for a bobcat instead of the tractor. Sure was nice to sell some of those chunks! Sorry my singing blasted you lol. Don’t worry, not gonna quit my day job 😂
You guys had a great day with deliveries and some free wood. Can’t beat that. Karen would you please cut back on Phil’s pep pills. He was 20 percent up more than usual. Glad to see you so both so happy. Great video.Later you two.
I love that you sold a tote of uglys for $100. I told you they would sell. That's money in your pocket vs. driving it to the dump. Keep up the great videos.
Hi Phil and Karen!!😀😀 Not a bad days work. Always fun to go to the toy store!! That was a nice grapple on the mini excavator. Would sure be nice for unloading logs but sticker shock is a little rough on a machine like that. Take care my friends!!😀😀💚💚 Logger Al
We had a 70 degree day here today, so we ditched the sweatshirts. Tomorrow is rain and cooler, so we're switching back and forth on the regular between sweatshirts and t-shirts it will be sweltering here soon enough! lol
Hey Phil , since you only brought home 2 hats last weekend , you would think Mrs Karen would turn loose of the check book at the bobcat store !!! 😂😂😂👍🏻🇺🇸
Hello Phil and Karen. That Bobcat Excavator with that rotating claw would have been the perfect thing for the wood yard. Phil you should have made him drive that up on the trailer when loading the wood. That could have been your payment for removing the logs and clearing their yard. Thanks for another good video.
The mini Bobcat was nice. I figured Dana would have helped ya load his wood but I guess he's busy making videos. Looks like ya got your money's worth from your dance and singing lessons😅
sure would love to have one of those Bobcats Kenny! lol, Dana has helped us a lot, he split a lot of it so we couldn't complain! I'm a dancing machine, what can i say? haha
Stocked the Falmouth Lion's Fire Pit wood stand today, have had a lot of calls. I am old school to justify an expense like that Bobcat, but it is sweet. As you guys know, I donate 100% of my equipment to the Falmouth Lion's. The Club is in the process of setting up a family in need that was sleeping in their car last winter because their run down home no longer had heat. A senior mother with a intellectual disable middle age son. Lion's Motto , "We Serve".
We are working on getting a few of our stands out this week but it looks like we have rain coming. Them bobcats sure are nice but it would take a lot of wood to pay for one . I will get ahold of ya on the next rainy day to see how we can help out .
It’s taken me a bit to respond (actually I just got to watch this today). I won’t bother telling you where I’ve been that caused the delay. Having said that, Karen, I must ask you why it was Phil had the block wall constructed? I initially know why: Safety and better visibility on loading the trailer. However, I was surprised he didn’t use it for his deliveries today. Watching that load of pine flexing high above the cab made me nervous (and I never get nervous) lol I like both of you and would like to see no ill befall either. Phil tells me he’s 54, ah, to be the man I was then! But, even at my peak, I don’t think I ever displayed the exuberance he did at the prospect of physical labor 😂. You have your hands full with that pup 🐶 Take care you two. All my best
We hope all is well Mark. We have the nice loading dock area, but if you notice…there is stuff piled up on it and below it, so we can’t utilize it right now until everything is moved. Typical Phil! 😂 Winter has challenges of where to “store” stuff and that’s where it went! We will get back to good…trying to catch up with all we’re behind on. Never enough hours in the day! The pine isn’t real heavy, the loading dock was made with oak in mind, but regardless it makes all loading easier. We’re feeling our age every day, and hoping we can keep getting it done. Always look forward to your comments Mark, take care and hoping for easy days ahead…for you and us both! 😊
Other that stacking it on the pallets that’s a good system . For years I pile it up to dry I do have to hand load the reactor bucket to get it in the delivery truck . That way the wood is clean and not scoping up bark and trash . That’s just how I do it . But your system is a pretty good set up .
Working hard as usual karen and Phil. Lot work done today. Karen he is hyper today. What did you give him for lunch ha,ha. Got have fun right. Take care.
Good evening that’s grapple on that mini look interesting. On your trailer how much do ya lose from going to stacked to loose. Make a good video. I got some wood trying to sell figuring 20 to 25 percent. 100 for ibc of scraps a win. Keep up the good work.
That rotating grapple was awesome. We dump 1/2 cord pallets into the trailer, so 4 pallets are 2 cord of wood in the trailer. It amounts to the same as if we were splitting green wood right into the trailer. Tipping it off up to the top of the rails is 2 cord of wood. We always deliver a little better than what people order. Never get any complaints that way!
I loved watching the video and watching all the equipment at work but one thing I wanna know is when he started singing. Is he gonna get a record deal for that
@@AllenFamilyFirewood i’m all in ha ha but really I do love watching you guys video. I live right here in Alton not that far from you guys and gals. Maybe I’ll grab Mike and swing on by you guys operation someday as you both know right now I’m busier than a one arm paper hanger. Keep the videos coming. I love watching them. You all have a safe day and safe week. Thanks for responding Lee Hillsgrove trucking signing off until your next video👍
All our firewood is delivered only split either in half or in quarters. What you are delivering looks more like kindling than firewood. Those are going to burn too fast in a wood stove, for sure. You need much bigger pieces for effective home heating.
This wood isn’t for home heating, it’s going to people who burn in fireplaces for aesthetics. With the exception of a friend that has a very small wood stove and wants the smaller splits. We’re geared more toward bundle sales and not home heating
No matter how many times you see it, watching two cords of bundle grade firewood come off of a dump trailer is an awesome sight. I was watching the pallets dump into the trailer, and I thought you need skid bars on the pallet floor, Then I thought, how about WAX? Like floor wax?
