Good to hear things are progressing well for you. Independant trucking company may be your best bet to get your Cdl back, if you have any documented time behind the wheel they would gladly take someone who is not green.Good luck.MJ
Good luck with it travis , had some catching to do as for what ever reason i havnt been getting notifications...Thought you had been hibernating...lol....glad to see all is going well ...😎👍🇦🇺
Good Morning Travis! I work for a landscape contractor. We are always looking for CDL drivers. Even part time, we are willing to pay nearly double minimum wage for someone who can actually hold a CDL. I would think if you shopped around, you could find one who would put you into their truck to test and qualify in. I wish you were closer to us, you’d be starting Monday! Aren’t you West of Chicago? I think I flew over your place last night! Be Blessed!
Yeah, I interviewed with a tree company that said the would do that, but their pay wasn’t worth it. $10 a hour, $11 with CDL. I’ll keep checking my options, all of these suggestions have been great! Yep, I’m near Rockford. Looks like all of you had a choir time at Billy Ray’s! I wish I could’ve been there! Thanks for the suggestions, thanks for watching! Take care friend!
Good Day Farm ::Well Travis, I would recommend checking into a few more Service Contractors. We start people between 10-15 per hour and advance up based on qualifications, experience and performance. Our area is actually below average for the state. I’m sure there’s a company out there looking for someone of your caliber. Best Wishes in your search! Blessings ‘
For sure! I’m not giving up. Unfortunately, my area is the same, wages here are way below stated average. If I want to drive 45-60 minutes one way, I can see an increase 30-50 percent.
Good Day Farm :: That’s what I figured. I am one to two hours from our premium wage epicenter of Ann Arbor, Mi., so I certainly understand what you’re saying. You would have to do the math to see what’s the best fit. You’ll come out on top, I have faith! Blessings!
None that I know, but I can ask around. I suppose it depends if their insurance would allow it. Good idea, thanks! Thanks for watching, take care friend!
Financial aid through the Community College? That can include loans, grants Etc. They should have a financial aid department that can answer your questions pretty quickly.
