Arrghhh!! Had two of Ricasas double rising girandolas and both of them failed. Really beautiful gold glitter, shame they didn't work as intended.

Gold glitter girandolas the best/favorite effect for pyro's especially when several are in the air at the same time ( Fallas ) it remains a wow factor. It's a shame that these from Pyrotechnica Ricasa don't go up in the air, I suspect too moist gold glitter was used when pressing the motors.

Looks like they needed some more powerful rocket motors. It looked like they were using gold glitter in the rocket motors and it wasn't burning fast enough to give the whole thing enough lift

I love this kind of 'dola! I have seen MANY of Ricasa's golden dolas fail though... have to wonder why so may fail.

What did you use to put it on? Stick with an base? Sadly that they didn't go up :(

A metal rod without base. Yeah bummer, I'll give Europlas a try instead.

@@vuurvent These were not touching the ground before liftoff, they were perhaps 10cm over ground. These dolas don't need a base because of how the frame is designed. The exploded motors were not because of this.

Those looked like they would have been awesome had they worked properly. But the crash and burn was pretty cool as well. Unfortunately, those looked like expensive failures. Better luck with your Girandola’s next time Andy. 🍻😎

The first time I saw girandolas, I just couldn't understand how the effect was created. They just seemed to float and fall like ghost. Alsyas, a favourite but rarely seen in the UK.
