your review is candid and informative. it's also personal to you as a wearer, as is proper (and, i guess, unavoidable). I'm always fascinated by the differences in what's important to diverse users. you obviously found the note feature underwhelming, because it just didn't seem all that important to your personal use. To ME, it's a major selling point and i'm all excited about being able to do it. this is an interesting product. thanks for putting in the effort to review it.
Great review, I’m waiting on mine but I’ve been through loads of different “bleeding edge” tech, and most of them are finicky and buggy, lots of these shorts and other videos only rave about how good they are, or how they’re the “worlds smartest etc”, I’m glad you’re one of the few who’ve reported this on here, the Reddit is full of issues/bugs, but it’s important for the company to be aware of these and fix them in order for them to be something great. Great video man, super useful for me and those who have some level of expectation, for these for those who’ve ordered them or for those who have yet to make a decision on them!
@@3AboodLajam thanks! Yeah all these videos that are practically advertising the tech are often so surface level and don't go into the true experience of using it. Luckily I'm pretty sure much of this could be solved with updates. Just hoping it doesn't take forever.
Got these this week, I have found a slow double tap on the left side allows me to scroll through notifications without any issues. I was tapping too fast previously and having the same issue.
Is it true that it will help answer the multiple choice questions in the book or any question during a quiz using AI? I mean do you have to read the questions to it or will it directly scan and have the answers appear to ya on the glass? How efficient is it when it comes to navigation and answer questions? Can you listen songs like Ray Ban glasses with these?
Unrelated, but I love the Vue pillow on your couch haha. I'm having to learn React for a new job and it's making me appreciate even more how awesome Vue is.
The shades only come with the charging case and I don't think that's meant for on-the-go, out-and-about traveling. A case for these would more likely be a bag (also something I got from Ampere with the other glasses).
Great review, much more thorough than other reviews I've seen on this. Do you know if notification would display languages other than English? Say I receive a text in Chinese, or use a Chinese messaging app altogether.
What a missed opportunity. Terrible UX , they did the hardest part (the hardware) but screw on the easiest (software). I'll wait for the next generation
That does seem to work better, thanks for that. I don't think that was clear from the instructions. I'll also say sometimes I miss the raised line just because I'm not sure how far back it is behind my ear.
Uncontrollable transition lenses still are uncontrollable. Sometimes I don't want the transition to happen. There's definitely still a market for the tech.
@@donniedamato they just say it is shipped from china with VAT included but without bluelightfilter it is bad, phonecalls also dont work and no google gemini as alternate way which binds us to the app which sounds like a risky 849$ investment because i have also the solos airgo 3 and inmo go glasses and both apps crash from time to time or in solos the ai cant hear me over the glasses but google gemini works without problems even without the app. Does the even ai work with the phone locked in the pocket? and does the ai understand german language too or only english?
Please how long did it take for them to deliver it to you? I'm in Canada and I ordered it over a week now. It's has been confirmed but I have not heard anything from them anymore. I messaged their support but they didn't respond. Thanks sir

The phone looks problematic from this guy's review. Those who have the phone are you experiencing the same problem that he is having . I was about to buy this phone but with a prescription it's 8 50 so I really need to know if this is a quality product or not
Important to disambiguate that I'm speaking about the smart glasses, not my phone. The glasses connect to my android phone. My take is if you haven't purchased them yet, I'd wait to see if they address some of the issues I've been having first. It's still a solid product to start with, just needs refinement.
