Depends on what options you get, but right now you have to special order because dealer lots are empty, and paying $600 for a factory spray-in bedliner that’s going to hold up production for several months instead of $450 for one you can get sprayed in after you’ve taken delivery didn’t make sense to me. When my truck came in 2 months to the day after I ordered it, that was my first mod. And most places that do bedliners also do window tint, so I got that done at the same time. Some people might not care for it, but a 2-1/2” leveling kit makes room for 37” tires, so after the WeatherTech floor mats went in, that was #3 for me. Since I didn’t want leather seats, a tailgate damper wasn’t an option, but it is easy to install for #4. And my tonneau cover is on back order, so whenever that comes in it’ll be #5. I’ll also be installing a DIY LED bed lighting system made from white LED strips. I’ve got a set of black Godzilla fender badges on order from Main Event to replace the chrome ones. Whenever AMP starts making PowerSteps compatible with 2022s, I’ll install a set of those. The Morimoto headlights are on the schedule, but the bank account needs some time to recover first. In the meantime I’m going to try installing black vinyl wrap on the bumpers and grille to delete the rest of the chrome. Someday they’ll get replaced with black versions, but this is an inexpensive interim solution.
Nice video what I don't get is why people call getting mats a modification Mods are things that bolt onto the vehicle and change the way it rides or handles. Mats are simply an add on. I laughed so hard when i watched a guy yesterday put on flags and valve stems and called it a mod!
Great video on possible mods. I did do the bed cover, however I chose the soft cover (I Don't need it for security). I pull a 36 Ft 5th wheel , I've chosen to leave it in the bed. I also have 2 bed storage boxes ( to keep tools and accessories secure). I also did the rain channels above the door windows. Thanks again for a great video.
Nice list! I consider floor mats / liners a must for any vehicle but especially trucks! I also got those Weathertech window visors (keep the rain out of slightly open windows), larger mud flaps (to protect our travel trailer) and a Retrax bed cover (overpriced but I’ve really liked it)! I’d like to know the weight limit of those power running boards and how much lower they actually go the the stock steps
