I recently got the new Samsung Galaxy S21 and these are the first 8 things I did to set up and customize my new Samsung S21! If you're looking for ways to customize your Samsung or any other Android phone, then I hope that you learned some good Android customization tips from this video! Some of the customizations I did are specific to Samsung One UI, but most of the customizations can be applied to any Android phone. Hope you enjoyed this video!

@@noora.1662 some carriers offer upgrades after 6-7 months because most people lease their phones for a monthly payment... i have T-Mobile jump and i can upgrade every 6 months if i want and T-Mobile 'pays off' what i have left on my current phone. not all people who have new phones all the time are rich, they are just always in debt with their carrier

@@rouda8136 only my opinion:) I think it's good with 14.4 iOS update! But everyone can decide which phone and design:) I like iOS better but that's only my choice :)

omg! finally someone else who uses the sidebar! you can change what size it is, what colour, how transparent it is, and if you press and hold it you can move it up and down left and right, and also in settings you can lock the position so you can't move it by accident. Also, you can have more than one panel on at once. All you have to do to get to the other panels is open the sidebar, and swipe right and left as if your going through your app drawer :) I have the galaxy S10 in green.

The S21 also came with the folder color spectrum. For years we've been able to change the colors of our folders but now with 3.1 UI we can also have a spectrum to add more colors. It comes with an opacity feature and saturation. This feature is coming to other phones in an update when they get 3.1 but it shipped with the S21,S21 Plus and S21 Ultra.

@@noora.1662 Click on a folder. At the top right you'll see a circle click on it. At the top right after opening the folder click on the color wheel that has various colors. You then have access to the folder color section.

I've had an iphone for a few years since I wanted to experience the hype of it esp since all my friends are iphone users and though, i do like it, I prefer samsung and I hope to finally be able to get a samsung this year once I start my new job :)

I love the gestures. I had no choice when I got my iPhone but I got used to them and only use the 3 button navigation on my tablet due to it's size. The swipe isn't as good on the tablet I got

I agree at the swipe gesture, its more easy for me to navigate ++ it's not confusing since sometimes i got confused in using navigation bar.

There is a color wheel coming to the clocks on the always on display in the future. It was supposed to be added in One UI 3.0 but it got delayed. Once it releases you'll also be able to use your emojicons as an always on display as well. I believe we'll see this feature added to one ui 3.5 or one ui 4.0. It got delayed more likely cause they were adding a spectrum to folder colors so they can add the spectrum to the always on display clock colors later. Right now with those clocks you only have pastel colors. When we get the color wheel we can choose bright colors. The lockscreen clocks have a color wheel.

I don't know if you know this, or if someone else has commented this before, but you can actually still have a theme on your phone but change individual things, like the lock screen and home screen. So if you still want to have one of those preloaded lock screens but everything else the paper airplane theme, you can do that. (at least on my Samsung a10e which runs android 9)

You forgot that in side bar you also can make app pairs where you pair two apps and when you tap on it, it will launch two apps in split screen

Hello Miss Ella I really enjoyed how you put the video together using the Dex great idea. Samsung has changed a lot of things so I will see what else will be available by the end of the year. I pay for my phones and do prepaid so for now I bought the Samsung S10 plus with the ceramic back and 1 terabyte of storage from Amazon and Samsung still has it also and you still get the charger earbuds headphone jack and sd card for memory. I have an iPhone 12 pro max and a Huawei mate 20 pro and it’s true, you can do more with the android than the iphone. And also customizing it feels so good like you can just change your aesthetic depending on your mood.

The Service Carrier that I use just gave me a Free Upgrade from Galaxy S10e to the Galaxy S21. This Video was helpful, letting me know that there are Customizable Options.

You pretty much hit all the right points for a good setup. I would do auto or dark mode for even better battery life since that's an amoled screen. Those buttons on the top are called tiles 😉. Everyone out there, if you find an Android girl then that's a keeper 😊.

1:13 as someone who was with Android since 3.something version Navigation buttons are still pretty good to use I sometimes turn them on again for some time, maybe it's because I'm an old-head of some sort

Most android users are that. Or they used an iPhone with touch ID. I went from an iphone 11 pro max to a note 20 so I liked the gesture's more. I use the buttons on my tablet but that's cause of the size

also you can have more than 1 option ticked for your sidebar. I have the S9 but getting the S21 ultra (hopefully) for my birthday in April, and basically the more you swipe right the more options you can have if that makes sense

You can also change your keyboard by dloading a diff app. I switch to swiftkey before instead of using the default samsung keyboard then eventually switched again to gboard :)
