I’ve owned both iOS and Android (specifically Samsung Galaxy’s) and prefer the former. But; Samsung devices are great too. I just never felt the need to customize my home screen with themes and icon packs, so I felt like it was overkill for the usage I gave it. It all boils down to personal preference and usage.

@Michael Oku Cuz u are a typical Apple fanboy, dude :D We can all agree, that android market is better now, and everyone going for them. Most of the people is overhyped by apple, cuz it is the brand that they started to use. Nowadays androids is taking up the market. Apple company is just "Luxury" for its brand. Thats it. I love the fact that you have a Samsung. It’s like Marques Brownlee mentioned (and I’m paraphrasing here) when he said that we shouldn’t let the connectivity between devices from one ecosystem distract us and blind us to the fact that there are better quality options out there in the categories we’re looking for.

I want to do the same. I bought an s21 and have a iPhone 12. iMessaging is making things wonky. Do you disable your iMessaging so you can freely switch back and forth?
I 100% agree! I'm also a samsung user and whenever I think about switching to ios, I think back to everything I love about android and I instantly think I'll never switch 😅. The only thing that I have to say is that Iphones integration with the apple watch is great. I'm not a fan of the samsung watches due to the lack of google assistance.

I think as far as air drop, samsung has quickshare, which I think does the same thing. The only downside(as with airdrop) is that you can only use it with other Samsungs, and your other devices are Apple, so it might not work for what you need it to do.
I think they also have nearby share. I have it on my android tablet and my note 20. I use them when I want a phot from one and want it on the other. I dont know if all android phone and tablets have them but the ones I have do

Yes, I am in the same situation, a MBP and iPad. For eleven years my smartphone of choice was iPhone only, started with iPhone 3GS through XR. iPhone perfectly fit the Apple ecosystem, love their integration. August 2020 I purchased my first Android, the Samsung Note 20 it is amazing, it surpasses my previous iPhones. After a year with this Note 20 I can say for my use I do not see any reason returning to iPhone. Apple and Samsung ecosystems are equal, and work well with their respective devices. Things I like about my Note 20: one obvious reason is using the S-Pen and its feature set, make any app as default, DeX is outstanding, Samsung (Android) implementation of copy/paste is something Apple and computers should have, split screen, Secure Folders, and more are considerably better than Apple. For over twenty years I was Apple products only, many Apple products, truly a Apple gear-head. Now, with my Samsung Note 20 experience I am also switching to Windows.

Samsung is slowly integrating with Microsoft OS, in that the Microsoft's Your Phone app (it works with iphone i think) in Windows 10, allows the integration of Android phone to PC to share photos and files Their partnership with Microsoft also brings Microsoft's Xbox Gaming to Samsung phones. I've been using Ipads and Samsung phones at the same time for about 8 years now. While the Ipads always have a more premium feeling, Samsung phones are much more fun to use. I rmb when I had a dead LCD on my Ipad and took it to an Apple store, they told me they had to change the entire device even though everything is working fine, its even touch responsive. Basically I paid about $700 for a dead LCD, I still cant get over the fact that warranty dosent come with my Ipad and I have to buy it. Had the same issue with my S21 Ultra after 4 months of usage/gaming. Went to a Samsung store, was served within 10 mins and told me they would check the phone and repair as needed. In literally 1 hour, I came back with a new screen, cameras, battery and a screen protector. Best part? I paid $0 cus it comes with a 1 year full warranty coverage for free. While I love both devices very much, I am thinking of dropping the Ipad soon as both of the devices are getting stupidly expensive and I just cant afford to buy both of them.
Wtf kinda country do you live in where the warranty is sold separately. Unless you got some bootleg Apple products from an importer? Apple has a minimum of a 1 year warranty. You didn't specify how old your iPad was, did it only show issues after YEARS of use and it was OUT OF WARRANTY compared to your Samsung phone which had the same issue after ONLY 4 short months and you act like its a miracle that they honoured a warranty for giving you a defective product that failed in 4 months?
