Congratulations!! I suspected that when you got a chance to run in some cool weather you would run a 9 second pass. You seem to be more knowledgeable than the average RU-vid car guy and realize the importance of a proper drag radial, correct tire pressure, a good burnout and know how to launch your car. I can't wait to see what you do with your Z06 when you get it. I honestly believe that if anyone can run that car to its full potential, it will be you.
Nice. My 2012 zl1 ran high 9's with pulley.. 1200cc Injectors .. cai.. headers n exhaust.. my 2020 cat runs low 9's with a 2.75 pulley.. 10% lower.. 1,300 Injectors
Very nice content, contemplated a Dodge Challenger red eye, mustang GT 500, but the ZR1 has great looks and great price in comparison to the previous two. Placing my order for a 2023 ZR1 this Saturday, last of the V8’s gentlemen.
I was thinking of purchasing h.p. Tuners for my self. Would you be willing to do.a small video or a mall series of which one you have and how you log, save and send data for a tune? I have been driving over 5hrs away for my tunes and as you know, every change needs a tune. I'm interested in how the entire thing works so I can continue to have a shop tune, like prey performance and not spent an 11hr round trip drive. Thanks.

The app was not updating they were having issues with their internet service so it didn’t send the info for this run. I had to go to the control tower to get a slip made.

No the tcm was unlocked. On the zl1 the tcm limits throttle in 1st gear so it’s hard to get a low 60’ with the tcm unlocked you can go full throttle right at the hit.
Who does your tuning? You keep saying that the only upgrades you have are headers, intake, and E, but without a tune none of that could work. Also, if you are running E-40, what Ethanol kit do you have installed?
Wow. What kind of power did both ss and zl1 make? I'm debating on swapping my ss in for a zl1 because most people say 550 rwhp is top safe limit on stock bottom. You have an opinion? Thanks
The SS made 545 NA and 730 on nitrous lol and the zl1 only made 610-630. I wouldn’t run the SS more than 550-600 but with a safe and proper nitrous kit my SS did really well. I like the fact that the zl1 doesn’t need nitrous fill ups 😅 and has usable power the whole time. With the blower you don’t need too much power to have a great time
Hey bro I'm bout to get the same mods you have tryna keep it simple but fast! Would you recommend getting a high pressure fuel pump as well jus to be safe, I'm gonna get the OEM PTB as well?
Not needed unless you are trying to run full E but you will still need the bigger +30% injectors also.... you are looking at around 4k in hpfp and bigger injectors to be able to run full E on bolt ons. with the aux pump you could probably run e50-e60 on the mods i have but with ported blower and pulley you might end up back at e35.
@@JLSpeed smh I actually meant the auxiliary pump. Yea all I'm doing is cai, headers, E 60, trans tune and a oem tb period! That's enuff to beat about whoever I race
hey jorge off topic but, i tried installing my Forgestar D5 17x10 305/45/17 Drag Radials on but the “wheel weight” keeps rubbing against the bottom of the caliper. any suggestions or did you experience this as well? Thank You!
Is it rubbing against the cross over tube? If so you can use a rubber mallet to slightly push it inward. I did have that wheel weight issue and had to take the wheels back and have them move the weights slightly away from the area of the caliper that it was hitting
Im putting my zl1 on E with in a couple weeks. I have my d.s.x, my sensor but, what guage do you use to read your E85 content. Been struggling which one to buy. Tried the obd2 dongle torque ape, not working for me. What do you use? Thanks.m

Big gulp rotofab intake, speed engineering 2” headers with speed engineering mid pipe to stock rear mufflers. Dsx low side fuel pump with pray performance ecm and trans tuning!

@@JLSpeed Yeah thats the downside of these cars, would you have to get an aux pump and run e50/60 or would you need the injectors. I know those things are pricey though, especially the injectors.
@@intensifyskillz9046 with the aux pump I should be able to get up to e50-e60 again but if I install anymore mods I’ll be back down to no e or very little E which will cancel out some of the gains.
