I did an H-pipe with the corsa active exhaust. It sounds perfect IMO, the quiet mode seems to make less noise than the OE active exhaust which was very surprising.
Part of the roar you hear from the inside is due to the sound tube. I have a video deleting it, and it made a huge difference with "engine" noise. I have since bought that exhaust I talked about in the video, and I love it ;)
I have a Borla s type on my v6 Mustang and it’s LOUD under throttle but a very pleasing and unique sound note not raspy in the slightest. I have a Spectre CAI aswell and it gives this satisfying whistle that is pretty loud around 1500-3500 rpm she’s a beauty
Before my s550 coyote 🐺 I had an 07 and an 06 3v mustang. One was a V6 and the other a gt. So I been knew how to drive mustang without traction control
Get an slp loudmouth 1.They aren't as loud as it seems.Perfect sound and you get used to it.At idle they're gteat and you have to get on it to have the true sound come out.Just the way it seems to me.They are perfect for stangs!.I also got a little more power out of mine.
Dude just wait till you put on an aftermarket exhaust and do a pull... it'll sound like a fucking monster. If you like a deeper tone like me I have the borla Atak. It's not that loud like everyone thinks it'll mellow out after awhile. Actually want to make mine louder.
I don’t like the sound of mustangs either tbh- they just feel more like v8 sports cars. The Dodge Challenger rt, scat pack, and Camaro ss are so much more muscly and feel like true muscle cars, wonderful video as always 💗
@@JVette01 it depends on your mods and gearing. With 3.55 of you have a 93 tune with headers and intake you should be 2nd launching. I have 3.15s because I wanted longer gears so even on e85 I can launch in 1st
I've heard the torque on each gear sucks because they stretched out the gears. You would probably have to go with a 393 or a 410 rear end in order to get some of your 0 to 60 back and then do maybe some Ford high performance stage 2 racing cams, Flowmaster 40 series exhaust and H pipes along with a Roush racing blower set up complete with forced induction. That should give you north of 750 probably closer to 800 hp
They only stretched gearing on the manuals, with the 10 r80 it’s geared perfect , 2nd gear ratio on the 10sp is almost the same as 1st in the mant , first gear in the 10r 80 is really low , I have a 21 GT auto and it will beat the manual no problem
I have just about the exact same car as you. Am I OK to drive it up to 4000 rpm before 1000 miles? Just how aggressive can or should a person drive under 1000 miles?
Get the a type. Mine came with a Flow master outlaw. Basically the same as an attack. Way too loud. It was cool for a day or two but driving it around town sucked ass cohost even hear my music.
You didnt need 1k miles. 200 wpuld have been fine. But now the car needs to learn aggressive throttle with its by-wire system, and that means heavy right foot driving for 30 miles. And x pipes is not good for sound, h pipe is for a beefy deep sound.
seems like a non performance pack car .i have 3.55 gear and michelin 4s tires my car has 4000 miles on it and is 100 percent stock my best 0-60 is 3.98 on draggy and 11.82 118.6 mph on the street it definatly takes some practice
Best mode for a roll race would be on sport and drag? I’m getting a 10 speed this year and I have been hearing alot about dont use the paddles let the car do it on it’s own
There’s so many questions surrounding this and I’ve explained to people millions of times. That’s why I made a video on it. Here’s the link- m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-evw02tnYnzQ.html
@@JVette01 that’s what I was thinking also, I got an Oxford white so I’m getting black rims for sure, any suggestions and what spoke count you think looks best on the mustang from experience?
@@JVette01 Thanks a lot! Great videos btw! My GT was produced on Oct 31st and will get it end of year over here in Hungary. Can't wait to drive among those fashionable electric and hybrid "cars".
Coyotes are raspy as h*ll. The Camaro and mopars sound like true V8s and instant power, no waiting for revs. But don’t get me wrong your car is beautiful, I just don’t prefer the mustang and it’s overhead cam setup engine. I’ve always preferred the Camaro.
@@JVette01 yep that’s the overhead cam going to work there. I like the Camaro for having instant power and more torque right when you touch the gas. I’ve driven the 10 speed coyote and 10 speed Camaro. SS and GT and the Camaro just felt better to me on the road, felt like it had more power and more planted in the turns. While the mustang had better visibility and the high revs was something completely different to me I just preferred the traits of the Camaro over the stang. They were both amazing cars though.
no clue if ur gonna respond since this is old but are u regretting not getting the premium? im about to buy a mustang myself and idk if i want a new base gt or a used premium
@@NoDidddypeople who sell it with low miles probably abused the fuck out of it and trying to sell it before the problems show up , imo. Never buy a used mid tier sports/muscle car, people never take care of it, and if they do they wont sell it .
@@JVette01 Good for you then!! Exhaust is good but if you really want your car to move the best bang per dollar is get it LUND tuned! You can get the dual fuel tune and run e85 and damn it becomes a monster!
@@JVette01 will do I watched a couple but Ill watch em all….. hell if your tuned and all your rolling out no doubt, I myself have a GT350 that I have a hellion twin turbo setup and built motor…… she moves out hard….. Ive dynoed at 1200 to the wheels and can go up further but thats enough for now.
Hi bro I have an eco boost with the 10 speed. Recently it’s been “jerking” violently whenever I put it into reverse from a cold start (I’ve noticed the RPM will be at like 1500 then drops below 1000 after a minute and doesn’t have the issue). I plan on bringing it in sometime soon but I wanted to know if you or others had this issue. I’m worried that the dealership can’t replicate it and think I’m an idiot!
Hey I have a m3 with a dct transmission and it does the same thing but way worse but I guess that just the character of the dct transmission and well mabe u can tune it to remove it on ur mustang eco boost
I agree the Borla exhaust sounds terrible/obnoxious. Stock sounds awesome why mess with it? Also that's the way the car is tuned I really believe that's what's best for the car long-term too.
I think the Borla S-Type actually sounds very good. If mine had the active exhaust, I wouldn’t touch it. The base exhaust is a little too tame for my taste.
The Mustang is still a good sports car! Especially with that NA 5.0 V8 that sounds great! However this generation is getting really outdated. Eagerly waiting for the next generation Mustang!
@@JVette01 I think I might have seen you around in your Ecoboost before haha. If you seen a 2018 yellow mustang with satin stripes that’s probably me haha
Yeah. The altitude, heat, 91 octane, and lack of traction will make it hard. I can do it though, just need better conditions. Best as of now is 5.0 seconds. I will do a follow up video in better weather to see what I get.
Wow, I didn't think the Eco would be quicker than the GT. 5 things I hate about the GT: 1. It's slower than an Eco. 2. It uses more gas than an Eco. 3. It costs $10K more than an Eco. 4. It has less range than an Eco. 5. It doesn't handle as well as an Eco.
1. This was done in over 100 degrees where my EcoBoost video was done in 60 degrees. 2. The EcoBoost had a tune and intercooler and this is 100% stock 3. It’s way faster than the EcoBoost. Both in butt dyno and in numbers. 4. I love and respect the EcoBoost but it’s nowhere close to GT performance.
@@JVette01 I hear ya but your test isn't the first I've seen where someone had difficulty extracting 0-60 performance from the GT. Thanks for the content.
I have new wheels and tires now and I get 4.6 consistently. Vegas has garbage 91 octane and is relatively high in altitude so I think it’s pretty good.
