So this game is turning into Skyrim for me. Constant restarts and hoping the NRG Gods bless me. They haven’t. But I honestly love it. Thinking about getting my brother a psn card to get it too. Amazing game but huge learning curve
If ever you're encumbered by like oh.. 13-15 AND have a broken leg... and don't have a splint or time to waste walking back to base... eat some glass. Make your day easier n keep surviving!
@@Facesofevildead420, you're the one that gave the advice without any disclaimers. 🤷🏻🤷🏻 Sometimes I forget I'm playing on permadeath. Have to keep reminding myself not to take risks and not to take the coward's way out.
Good timing for this tips video. I just managed to get a copy of the game and will be playing after my doctors appt this morning. I have never played anything but vanilla legacy and been waiting like 2 years for this. Super excited. I'll be in xbox S. Let me know if you ever need another player for an Xbox multi-player run. Never done multi-player for this either.
@Spartan85 they do. I think my biggest problem is just getting myself to not stop and seach every box and trash pile long the way. I run out of daylight fast and haven't gotten anywhere near where I want to be each day. Also the bug causing delay or sticking when changing weapons got me killed. That sucked.
Yeah, we been waiting so long for this 😂! I don't have any friends to play this with. They all play stupid Modern Warfare or Fork Knife (I misspelled intentionally).
whats the point to ailments? the game is just a server program with a map. No solo mode like original 7 days to die...so in any mode at anytime you have toggle switches to make curing yourself easy: Kill yourself then respawn with full good health. Lose XP points? No, at anytime you can set no loss xp then switch it back. There is no forced survival like they had in the original 7 days to die. The temptation is there just like Final Fantasy 7 for Playstation has cheats at the push of a button. Just like when I played FF7 Original and was going to level up and play the game how it was meant to be I discovered you can cheat. Not having the options to do that forces you to play the game how it was meant to be. Now back to 7 days to die they had this option. You choose 5 Difficulties and play solo with online to join and are forced to survive and build. This new 7 days menu is just a server software where in order to play the game you must setup a server first and can tweak the settings at any time. Thats no fun and it's likened to me as a spoiler before you go and watch a movie. Kinda ruins it for me.
@@vampire7878 Sure if you cheat and make those changes. Sure, you get healed when you die, but you can add penalties that make doing that a bad option. If you want the challenge just set it up that way and play the game. If you don't have the control to stick to those changes, it is not on The Fun Pimps, it's on you. Maybe you should just go and watch that movie.
I have been playing 120 minutes days, currently on Day 12, and I am yet to find a single pill of antibiotics. 🤣🤣 Get a stockpile of honey going as soon as possible, it's more reliably found than antibiotics with my experience. Nor the trader, or a supply drop has graced me with a single pill, my RNG for this playthrough is just abysmal. 🤣🤣
@@Facesofevildead420, it took me ages to find a cooking pot. I hate how water is gated now. I liked the old way of just being resourceful and using my empty food cans that I ate from.
@@H.M.SKingGeorgeV exactly! I'm on day 27 I believe n I finally got my friggin forge going 🤣. I just want the gd workbench already! I think I'm one quest away from the bicycle tho.
@@Facesofevildead420, ironically, I got my forge up and running just after I found my first cooking pot, on Day 6. I like how I need to read a book to know how to put antimicrobial cream on a bandage or soak some cornmeal in water to make some cornbread, but I don't need a book to know how to smelt metals, forge iron and shape it in to a pot. 🤣🤣 This game is a rollercoaster, but I love it regardless. 🤣🤣
for sprains, steroids are great because they stop you from losing health when using the arm or leg. Also unlocks your inventory slots. I started using them a lot more in the early game
@@blainebickle1178, it would hurt, yeah, but it wouldn't be detrimental to your overall health if you continued to use it, it would just take it longer to heal. 🤣🤣
Am new to the game but know the base been to day 7 a few time been re starting but don’t know what’s a good start if it matters don’t want to be ran over but don’t want to go a weapon that you want use end game but the stun baton you will because of the op cc any tips lol so I can stop restarting
Any chance you could do a video on how best ro arm and gear each type of character? Seems everyone is obsessed with assassin types and I think I'd like to make a tank type or something like that. Just curious what the best way to spend points and what gear/weapons to do for different types of builds.
Pai. Killers I keep on hotbar because they give 50 hp right away great in a pinch also new players may not know they gotta read 5 medical books to even be able to make medical bandages good to prioritize great info vid 👍
Painkillers also dehydrate you rather drastically, if you're going to take them, do it when your thirst bar is close to 0 to maximise efficiency and then drink. Water isn't as easy to obtain as it was in the legacy version, you have three ways early game, found or collected murky water which is gated by a cooking pot, a dew collector which is gated by a magazine, although the Forge Ahead magazine isn't hard to find, and then there's trading. I wouldn't be so quick to prioritise health over hydration. You can avoid combat, you can't avoid dehydration.
So In 1.0 on the navezgane map, I know drinking from certain water sources will give you dysentery..but is there any water sorce that is clean all the time? Because found a lake I drank drom it to do the challenge and when I didn't get sick after three times, I'm like did i just find an entire clean water source??
No, you just got lucky. Drinking from any water source with hands is exactly the same as drinking a bottle of murky water. 12% chance of Dysentery / -5 HP and +10 Hydration. Drink from the water again, if you lose 5 health, it isn't clean.
Everything in this game if you can't craft something is read more magazines, use the correct station or put points into the correct skills (and use the correct station)
You need to read medical journals, find them in medical related loot containers like ambulances, mirror cases above sinks, piles of medication on the floor and such. You can just buy them at the trader too.
