this has been going on in my room for 2 years now. so the story is a day before we left to go to the bahamas, the master bedroom one false alarmed, then after we left maybe in that 1 week the detector in my room went off because it has that blinking green light when i returned back from my trip meaning that unit has falsed alarm. it has happened once 3 years ago when i was sleeping it was like 4:00 am in the morning.
Oh cool! The same issue I have that I can look at Live! Sounded off on me last night at 2:30am, silenced itself after 2 horns and is now blinking in a "latching alarm" state. What's the fix
@@jacobflanigan6343 well I took it down and inspected it closely, I suppose it's possible. The window in the room it's located was open for several hours before the alarm...
I replaced the battery 3-4 weeks ago. It started beeping 3 times every 20-30 mins for 3 hours this morning. I didn’t see any smoke so I opened and cleaned it a bit. It still beeped once every couple of hours. I hold the test button for 5 seconds to reset and it’s still blinking green. What do I do? 😢
@@jacobflanigan6343 I removed the smoke detector along with the battery, held the Test button for 20 seconds and that reset it. :) I did it for 15 seconds at first but that did not work. For this model, it has to be 20 seconds according to the manual online. Thank you for your response!
