Tried this earlier this year with a small bowl. I took too much off the outside and lost it on the hollow. Thanks for sharing 👍. I'm going to try again soon.

Use original tenon to form new internal mortice, tick. Use new mortice to refine tenon/foot and work outside, tick. Flip around and work on inside tick. Use brush to apply finish ......where's the sock??? No sock, no Raffen method! 🤣 Seriously though, great work! Cheers from across the Pond, Dave

Ah, the famous sock. If I ever decide to use oil and beeswax, I'll definitely use a sock.

Yes, finally. But I can hear the progress of recovery in the voiceovers toward the end. Amazing how much oil that soaked up. Wish I'd thought to weigh it before and after oil.
