Ferry Chikushi(フェリーちくし | 페리 치쿠시 | 渡輪築紫) is Japan's local ferry ever built by Kyushu Yusen Inc(九州郵船). that operate from Hakata Port to Ashibe Port to Izuhara Port (博多港→芦部港→厳原港). Today, I book the Most expensive private room, called "First Class". (最高級の個室 1等室客室) from Fukuoka to Tsushima (福岡→壱岐→対馬).It's a 147.0Km (91.34 miles) trip that takes about 4 hours. The boarding season is in April. Even though it was a 1st class private room, I would be sharing a room during peak seasons, so I wondered what a private room really was...?! (lol) The Sky Lounge (スカイラウンジ) , which is only accessible to 1st class passengers, had a retro atmosphere and was a quiet and clean floor. The ferry is so popular with anglers (釣り人に人気) that there is even a place to store fishing gear (釣具格納箱) on the outdoor deck. On the day I boarded, the waves were calm and not rocking at all, but when it does rock, it seems to rock so much that you can't stand, so be sure to check the wave height before boarding!
