I have a couple pointers for you nobody else touched on. Zero your concave indicator, and level the concave, the procedure should be in the book. That you know exactly where you're setting it. When you grease the cam in the variable speed pulley on the cylinder drive, adjust the speed up and down with the separator running to spread the grease out and prevent galling of the cams from grease not getting where it needs to.
New toys make the work so much more fun . Your probably already thinkin about next year and your going to hate putting it away for the winter. You deserve good things and I'm happy to see your doing well over there.

Was wondering why you were not windrowing the straw. We used to bale it without raking if the weather was good. That way kept all the chaff in the bale. Makes for more absorbent bedding.
When the field is all combined we bring our self propelled mower in and hit it then bale it up for straw. This is the first day opening up the field. In the next video I am combining while the windrower goes around
If your going to do a new headliner in the cab, “Fehr” company is excellent. I think it’s where shoup and other parts places get their cab bits from. Doing some spring wheat here in eastern ND.
Dad looks right at home in his new machine. Don’t you love those two feederhouse shields? They can be a pain to put on. The two u-joints that run the main drive underneath/throughthe grain tank are 400 hour joints. Do them much more often. If those go out it tears out the floor in the grain tank. That are a pain to grease but it’s worth it.
9500 is our main combine. It has 2485 engine hours. Great rigs. No Def and no electronics. Grease the walker bearings every day or you'll sit eventually. If you have questions on the machine, I'll try to answer them.
You are going to need a bigger head for that combine, kinda like having a 20' head on a 9600 or bigger not enough head for the combine to work! Good looking combine hope it works good for ya!
We just got the combine and the corn head. if money grew on trees sure but this will have to do. We still need a bigger truck. a 6 row planter since we went from 4 rows to 6. Plus adding the tight places we have to get i to the 15 foot will have to do for now

Just bought at 9500, did you have any troubles getting the 915 head to fit the combine? This combine has the 21 spline shafts on the feeder house but the head still has to sprockets, so trying to figure out the conversions. Be easier to tell when the combine gets delivered its 6 hours away yet.
We had a 4420 combine before the 9500 and needed a new grain head so we went with the 915 knowing we were going to eventually replace the 4420. So our 915 head had the sprocket and the 9500 we ended up getting had a sprocket. I'm pretty sure they make an adapter to make it work
Nice lookin' oats! What kind of yield are you getin'? The farmers I knew in my youth seldom grew oats... exept for feed... Is it a cash crop for you... or do feed some too? Good luck with the new combine... And as always, I love the way your farm looks... Beautiful country...

We bought the combine and had to buy a new corn head but we already had the 915. So getting a bigger head would be 1 more thing to buy. Plus to get to some of the fields we do is pretty tight to get to even for a 15

I run a 918F on my 9500. Definitely could take bigger. But I can still get down the road without taking it off. 2nd gear in good crop I can run fast enough to keep it pretty full.

Anywhere from 50-100bu. An acre you’re doing really good. We had a field that did 100bu to the acre last year and Dad said that was one of the best crops of oats he’s ever had.
mikep7810 is it seeded down too? That was the only time I ever put oats in if I was putting down a new seeding but then again I haven’t missed my cows one day since they left in 2011 😂😂
