@George Michael Jr If that's your dream then chase it. However, not everyone wants to work for someone else going to the same building and doing the same mundane tasks day in and day out. Reyes may not make as much money but he enjoys himself.

@George Michael Jr Personally, I feel education is a bad investment for most. The majority of value comes from the friendships and connections you make while in school. Outside of the social value there's not much to gain since the real job skills are learned once you actually start working. I was merely giving a different perspective in my original response.

George Michael + I had several retail businesses since I was 19 to the age of 30 I already filed bankruptcy. When the recession hit it never bounced back. I tried several different jobs- businesses, and unable to save up capital. You are 100% correct about getting a degree. I’m 39 now, and depressed in debt all over again. Mean while every body in my group of friends and family all got married and have a family. I can not afford any thing! Any tips young one.

Reyes The Entrepreneur I was thinking, on the app because grub hub has 1 million and post mates only has 71 thousand. This COULD be an indicator, however it all depends on what area but, I think that for most people in most areas would have a better chance with grub hub as it has more people. However how much your getting payed is also very important.

One thing that helps with getting more orders on postmates is to drive during either lunchtime or dinner time. Timing is key when it comes to delivery. You have to think like the customer in terms of what and when they would order. From there, you can position yourself accordingly in order to profit.

Hey Reyes Dope content bruh. I’ve been doing postmates for about 1.5 years on and off and I have to say a major key is always texting the customer and finding out if you could get them anything else for there order. I know it’s tough but I’m out in the Denver market and I feel I do pretty good! I’ve also experimented giving the customer water or drinks but didn’t try that for long enough. Keep doing what your doing man! When I was in high school I was one of the “Candymans” of the school which got me kicked out and sent to continuation school because they didn’t like me selling and stealing the other peoples profits. Gotta stay on top of the game and keep pushing and finding other hustles! Keep it up man! Love the Energy! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

When I get postmates I always give good tips to the drivers that text me updates. I have had them tell me they are there and waiting for the food or at one place that is known for running out of particular items they texted to let me know that they did have them all in stock and that it was being bagged up. :) those extra things are really nice.

It's actually a really good job once you can do everything quickly. The faster you bring the order the more tips you get and you gotta be real nice. And plus theres a feature to auto accept deliveries while you're delivering an order. Can save you a lot of time and instead of 3 order in 3 hours you could complete about 10 orders in 3 hours and make a good 60 bucks

Heres the Breakdown on what you need to do. I have it down to a science.. Morning - Work from 10am - 2:30pm Evening - Work from 5pm - 9:30pm Thats during Lunch/Dinner Time & most people will order during these times Work Monday - Sunday Mon - Thurs are the best days cause people order lunch, Fridays people usually like to go out to eat since its the end of the week so you can compare the difference. Saturdays will be a 50/50 where some people like to go out & some like to order in & lastly Sunday people usually like to stay in & order cause they work the next day. Text the Customer.. After I drop off the order to the customer I text them "Thank you for being a pleasure to deliver to. Hopefully I earned 5 Stars when DoorDash asks you to rate my Service. Have a good day (NAME). What that does is lets the customer know that when they Rate on the App, its YOU they are Rating & not the Restaurant or Customer Service. I dont know if PostMates does a Rating system but just in case. Amyways, Ive had customers reply saying "Yes thank you so much, i added a tip for you in the app" or even "I was trying to add a tip, how do I do it?" thats when I let DoorDash support know the customer wants to tip me so they take care of that. When picking up the order.. Grab napkins, extra condiments, plastic utensils, etc. Even if in the Notes the customer doesnt ask for this, do it anyways. They might not know how to add it in the notes. When dropping off.. I say "Hi, DoorDash order for Reyes" they smile & say "Yes thank you" then I say "here you go, thank you have a good day" When you do this & mention their name it does 3 things.. 1) You are confirming they are the correct customer 2) When people hear their name, it shows you care enough to learn it & it makes them feel good 3) You wont look awkward just handing them the food quietly or saying "Here" & walking away Most Drivers are like that where they dont say anything when handing the customer their food so when I come along & im friendly, its a breath of fresh air to them. Ive had customers go "Hey wait a minute..." *reach into their wallets & give me $10, $20 or ill even get in my car & theyll call me for me to go back & get a tip. I hope you read this. This is coming from a person who did DoorDash for about 5 years. Remember though you have to do it for 7 Days cause you only made about $10 in 3 Hours for that day which is $3.33/Hour. After doing it for a week youll see a difference like $18-$23/Hour.

Yeah I drove for postmates and grubhub and neither have a rating system. I think a lot of the hourly comes down to your area and how your demographic prefers to order food. LA for example wont have as long of wait time for orders vs let's say Iowa. I like grubhub just a little more then post mates tho because the customer tips before the order is delivered and you know how much you'll make on a delivery before accepting. Postmates doesnt tell you how much you'll make on a delivery before accepting and the customers dont tip until after. So you may get the tip the same day or whenever they log back into the app which may be a week from then.

Honestly I’ve like door dash I live in Houston TX and my average pay is around $6 to $7 per delivery and about 2 orders a hour but gotta love those stack orders haha easy money but I’ve done a 6 hour dash and made easily 100$ from delivery fee and in app tip and cash tips

I did postmates for 9 month when it bearly started the fist month was all day driving to see wht was better morning or nights the best tht i did was lunch time till night time plus i set a goal everyday 100 $a day knt including tips i car pulled with my wife to make it faster so like tht we got our funds faster without looking for parking... i thunk this job is good for couples tht like to chill and drive around and explore diffrent thing around the city

I car pool with my wife also. You can pick up deliveries and drop off so much faster. No worries at all for parking!!!!!
