Stop critisizing them they only have 3 kids n their 2 sons were born in australia without any benefits they took care of all their expenses n after working more than 12 years constantly , they might have some money to travel for a fee months...plus he does uber which he can do anywhere get a life...

I visited Calgary last year, very nice place, a great vibe in the city & people were kind not sure why it was getting bad rep before but at the end of the day, it isn't the GTA ; finally decided to purchase my own condo in the coming year

Question: how can it be possible to sponsor a sibling/relative on a work visa if i open a small business? My only living sibling is my elder sister (age 55, home-maker) back in Pakistan. And I am trying to find a way to get her here with us (me and my wife) in Canada? Any suggestions

Have a business here in Canada, you may be able to invite them for a skilled position in your business… the best bet is to get advise from the IRCC regulated agent as we’re still exploring those options

Three room in Gta is 3200, we checked in whitby, markham etc. We moved recently from Ottawa to Whitby. In ottawa we were paying 2300 for 3 bedroom with finished basement but now it is around 2700. However with basement in gta is 3500

We relocated from Niagara to Calgary last month for the same purpose - affordable housing, low tax and business opportunity. Alhamdulillah its been a good experience. But rents over here are much higher than Edmonton. If you guys are thinking of business then Alberta ( Calgary or Edmonton) is best. You will see a big difference in fuel prices, low tax, less traffic, weather, more kindness (compared to GTA). I wish you all the best.

I have lived in ottawa and edmonton. And let me tell edmonton is a lonely wasteland. Its fine for those with lots of family. But for others not so great. Also alberta market is trash and unstable for office jobs. Mostly jobs for upper management. Its a constant roller coaster. In ottawa, things are very different.

Bhai in order to "buy" a house in Canada you need to have a full time permanent job or atleast 2 years working as self employed to qualify. How will bank give mortgage to someone who is just living on free money from the government and not doing any job? You need to get serious instead of wasting yours and your kid's time.

Edmonton is a dead as hell city in eyes of Calgarians. Go figure how shite it must be! Coming from Sydney and Toronto, you'd have a hard time settling in Edmonton! Calgary is pretty crappy.. but it does get a pass.. but barely!
