So guess what happened on the first day of class 🙄?
It was the first field trip of the program and I was beyond excited! I finally got to explore a little part of Busan! It was a day filled with history and just admiration for Korea's rich culture.
This is just part one of this episode, and part two will be coming right up! So stay tuned for more 😊

ll About Me ll
Born and raised in a potato shaped country called Malaysia (stuck in between Thailand and Singapore), I enjoy filming my travels (when I travel, though not often) and sharing them with my friends and family. Although I don't have much to film on a daily basis, I do other young adult things, mainly school and binging on Korean variety shows 😊...mmmmm.

Hi, can you give some info about the curfew time in the dormitory? Is it strict?
@BridgetteWong

Hey! When I was there, the curfew was that no one could enter or leave the dorm from 1am-4 am. And yes the dorms are pretty strict to that rule 😁

Thanks for your reply! Was there any punishment if you stay out all night and came back after 4am? Sorry I cant find this info on their website 😊

Hi! Are the courses in PNU taught in English? Or they use Korean? (Esp in Graduate School)
@BridgetteWong

Hi! Well as I was there for the Summer School, courses were all taught in English because most of us were international students anyway. As for the Graduate School, I can't really tell you because I wasn't under the Graduate School sorry 😭😭 You can definitely drop them an email though to inquire more about the uni!

How’re the language classes taught and do you get a lot of free time?
@BridgetteWong

Cheyanne Bryan We were all broken into smaller groups depending on our level of korean. There were 2 teachers per class that covered different parts of the language. As I was in the beginner’s class, they had prepared a syllabus for us to be covered within that month 😊.

As for free time, I did get enough free time for me to do the things that I wanted.

Also what did you learn in your academic module?
@BridgetteWong

Cheyanne Bryan I took up this class called 'Living the Intentional Life in a Sea of Possibilities'. It basically was one of the chillest classes out of the four offered. The whole class was essentially about how we can view things in different perspectives and be more open about the world. It was kinda deep 😂

Cheyanne Bryan The other classes were Korean Film, and Ocean & Climate. All of which had lecturers that would cover the related content. Out of the three, Ocean & Climate was the one with the most positive feedback even though it was challenging. It was also the class that had actual PNU lecturers & scientists supervising the class. So if they offer it next year, I'd recommend it.
