Journey well begun 😁 I will recommend you one think. As Lavi jumps on the bike make Her step onto the foot peg and swing Her leg over. As long as Her weight is on top of the bike there are very small weight distribution outside the bike. The way She gets on and off now you risk to drop the bike if She loses Her balance. Just a friendly advice from Denmark 🤗. I'm so much looking forward to follow you on your journey.
I wanted to say the same thing. Have Lavi step on the foot peg, grabbing your shoulders, and then swing her leg over. If you make it to Thailand, drop me a line. Northern Thailand is an adventure Mecca of sorts. Enjoy
Actually Ollie you can do the same when mounting. Just leave it on the side stand and use your peg as a ladder 😉 We older guys need the ladder to get on top of those tall bikes 😜
I came into your program once you entered South america. You didn't have a video today that was up to date, so I went back to watch the very first video of your trip. It was so fun to see you guys starting out knowing what I know now. I can't wait to catch up on the full series.

Great first video guys. Could I also make a suggestion that it might be easier for Lavi by placing her foot on the foot peg first and then standing to get on the pillion seat. I'm short (5'2") and this was the only way I could get on. It just might be easier especially after riding for a few days. Much love to you both x x x
Gonna have to visit the Ace cafe one day. Prob an hr or so from me (but am still learning)! Chilterns not far from me...some nice riding near Henley on Thames etc and down through Berkshire. (Traffic though in London ugh).
@@LaviandOllie Ha might just do that. Dont think I'll be riding down to Spain etc this year. A bridge too far, the joys of DAS...new bike...insurance...etc... P.s Wales and the 125 thats a tempter. Make sure you get some "calamares a la Romana" somewhere coastal best. And a fav of mine is "cochinillo asado". After a hot ride n a cold beer...🤞
Looks like a fun start! What were the issues/fixes you encountered with the bike, and what were the circumstances involved with the bike drops, and was there any damage? What news do you have about your gear? Those are interesting details. Even day-to-day adjustments are interesting! Don’t hold back! :)
Have you checked out our other videos where we did some off road practise? You can see two of them there 😂 Damage wise we broke off the clutch lever (now replaced) and cracked the foot pedal bracket which we have a spare in case it gets worse. We will do a gear video soon and go through everything then 😁🙏
