Rio de Janeiro has been on my bucket list for over 10 years and it didn't disappoint. Everyone there was really friendly and costs were cheaper than I expected. I ended up making friends and exploring the city. I can't wait for Carnival, stay tuned.

Stuff in Brazil gets expensive, they charge the equivalent in real to usd for a lot of stuff and even more on some, but there are some good deals, I love it there though

You got the cheapest stuff. In Brazil, things are usually much more expensive. 3x or 4x the prices you showed, especially in the touristc cities.
