First Descendant Ultimate Vs Regular Descendant : Does It Matter? 

We all know the only reason people are shelling out 100 USD for Ultimate Bunny is for the cake, not her stats.

Ultimate grants the booty buff so it’s worth it

I noticed an ultimate bunny player pretty much nuking the local zip code everytime they double jumped while running a mission for thunder cage parts.

If you are a warframe player, so many rules from warframe can apply to this game. Just use your knowledge of that, and you'll be fine.

Getting the Ultimate version is main problem. I’m trying to get Ultimate Gley and I don’t think ima get get anytime soon. 😭

Definitely matters for Lepic, that defense makes him a lot more flexible on external components.

Good video! Would revisit the math. Ajax for example, you get 1200 more base defense, which compounds to a lot more value when you put defense mods on

These buffs are kinda huge given that DEF and HP mods are mandatory.

ajax gets what 2k defense nearly, thats huge since he normally gets like 500% defense

Just keep applying the mod discounts signs on your main. We definitely have ultimates at home.

Ok idk why the most important part of this wasnt mentioned but mods multiply based on your base stats. So put simply in a theoretical manner, if a base descendant has 1000 armor, and the ult character has 1500 armor, its only a 500 armor difference. 500 wouldnt make a difference in the long run. Now lets slot in some defense mods, most people get between 25k to 40k def on their avaerage descendant when they slot those in. So lets say our theoretical base descendant manages to get to 30k defense. Now we slot those mods into our theoretical equivulant ult character. Their armor would end up being 45k. 15k armor difference there. Thats the kind of difference we are talking about. Its all percentage based and multiplied. If an ulti has a stat 20 percent better, extrapolate that into the tens of thousands and you'll see a huge difference, because the true diffence comes when theyre modded, not just looking at their base stats. HUGE difference.

I fell in love with viessa in the beta. Then I looked into it and her drop rates are abysmal even compared to other ultimates. So I just said screw it and bought her. It’s like 2-3h work for me anyways and I’m saving myself from weeks of farming.

Yes, all of them matters for those who care to min/max, especially the bunny. Once you reach endgame and hardmode you realize every Hit point matters. TBH, I put so many catalyst on my regular bunny, there is no way im getting ultimate and starting over. My regular is far more capable than a stock ultimate

Considering ultimate versions have access to awesome mods their regular versions don't, I say it is absolutely worth it... The issue is getting the mods, and the parts to craft the ultimate version, to drop

You missed out the abilities difference. If i recall Ulti Bunny has a shorter Cooldown on her V .

Ultimates also have exclusive modules. So, there's that to consider.

My problem with this game is the grind for the ultimates for such little stats compared to warframe where you can obsoletely see the difference in regular vs prime frames

Def stat has major diminishing returns, 1 or 2k does not matter unless you are just starting the game

The Ultimates are Prime Frames, so that should tell you that they're worth it. Also, stop getting mad because people choose to buy them instead. We literally do the same thing in Warframe.

Wish the base version I’m using for Valby which I have 10 module sockets on would transfer to the ultimate version. Exactly the same character… of course when ult Valby releases in a couple weeks :(

Ultimate Bunny actually has noticably thicker thighs. I actually laughed when confirmed this whem i did a side by side comparison with another players Ultimate in the hub area.

the amount of time you are going to spend on farming Ult's you can most definitely get 12+ Catalysts and make the whole farm a moot.

Kinda figured they would get a bit more mp or skill scaling along with hp but i can see that going for these is overall useless unless they have a busted transcen mod

To be fair knowing I invest in something that has a slightly better version and therefore is a better flex would hinder me from investing. In case of Gley though the ultimate is worth it, with the modules you will be running those extra 1.7k defense easily turns into extra 7k defense.

As someone who grinded ultimate bunny (took around 15 hours of grinding) I would say she is far better than regular bunny. The main reason the the High Voltage Mod which absolutely shreds

Finished grinding ultimate ajax, its in the oven cooking, some of the grinding is kind of BS, but its not unsurmountable

Gotta do a part two to show if there are changes to skill dmg if any because in warframe thats a big reason to buy prime/ultimate, if no changes to base skill power than absolutely no reason to buy other than fanfare cheeks

I finally got my first Ultimate, Lepic. I know he is probably the easiest to get but I feel proud. I starting now farming for Ult Bunny since she is my main and the one I invested the most. I wish I was rich to just buy the ultimate bundle but, oh well....

getting ultimate is a pain in the ass and not allways worth it. For my bunny for example, the only real difference is that i cant use the cool dmg ult mod with regular, but im doing perfectly fine without it so far. The deff stats dont really matter

I finally got my ultimate bunny part number one i got on launch day without even trying at that point in time I didn't even know ultimate characters were a thing in this game. Part number two was sneaking with Sharon got an amorphous that had another 3% for a different part and went why not spend 15 minutes getting void shards and fighting a boss etc hit it first try. Then went back to forgettense and hit the third on the 8th try . . . The fourth meant either sneaking with Sharen who i have built around duration and not survivability and haven't minmaxed her as ive been pouring everything into Min maxing Gley. And im not even close to frostwalker and so i was in the swamp for 32 hours straight. Met a new gaming buddy and we had a system down we went to an outpost he would sneak in with his on the spot basic sharen and once he did his thing i nuked the boss with Gley on a 10% drop rate it took probably 10 hours there to get the last blueprint and there was more echo swamp defense in between 56 hours in total for that last part was brutal but now i just need her materials after the servers come back up thank you for showing the stats!

Me dropping a hundred dollars on ultimate bunny bundle: stats?

Long story short, get the ultimate version. It’s always gonna be better, and you need it for mastery rank anyways. Some characters have mods only they can use. Ultimate bunny for that matter as a mod that makes her a dps monster that normal bunny can’t utilize

So the stats for the abilities are the same? I think that's what matters to me more. If an Ultimate Descendant's abilities have bigger numbers then it's definitely worth it. But if not then yeah, it matters less.

. I’m not gonna listen to much more, but the fact is if the ultimate character gets better stats that matter to you then it’s going to become hyper important when you start modeling out that character specially things like increased or things that give you a percentage increased to your baseare going to a lot when you’re looking at 23 modules getting you like 300% increase on some stat that’s going to be way more useful when the stand itself is higher. I haven’t looked at them on each of them but anything saying it’s increasing a stat by a percentage is going to be much more important if those base stat is higher to begin with.

For the most part, it doesn’t make that much of a difference. Bunny Gley, and Lepic. The rest don’t matter.

Ultimate Lepic matters alot due to his transcendent mod Firearm Master. Its a 40% skill power buff.

Oh it matters. To make extreme min/max builds possible. A pure defense build with 1 hp on Ajax could be the tankiest in the game

I got an 10k hp bunny and i saw an ultimate bunny get one shotted by minnons 🤣

The devs made the price points for buying stuff so high to deter ppl from buying things and forcing u to grind for it which ultimately keeps people playing the game longer although I lowkey hate it its actually very smart on the devs to do that cuz like I said it keeps players coming back and having things to grind/farm for rather than paying for it playing a little bit and then quitting because they have nothing else to do

the fact that devs only made slight boost to defensive stats makes it. ok for me. if they had higher offensive powers, that would be a problem.

I don't get it I'm running transcendent module that says ultimate ajax exclusive and AJAX exclusive, i don't have ultimate, some kinda scam to get a bit extra stat power and skins for a lot of money or long grind..😮

Can you use high voltage from Ultimate Bunny in regular Bunny which is fully maxed with catalysts? That is the main question.. Forget the skin.. Because do you have to make a whole new ultimate bunny with the catalysts.. Or do you have to do the while grind fest again.. No one answers that...

Just like warframe getting primes won't make you a better player, neither will getting an ultimate.

I am sorry, but for the amount of time it takes to farm for an ultimate, they need to buff ALL OF THEM at least in the stats. Needs to be way more than normal characters. Either if you are buying one or farming for one, its time consuming/pricey. They need to reward us more for an ultimate.

I think this is an issue that basically nobody is really talking about. Locking mods to ultimate descendants is just beyond scummy. Specially when the grind for them is so absurdly frustrating. Comparing this game to Warframe, the prime Warframes are basically skins. Ironically they're usually easier to get than their counterparts to the point where you're oftentimes better off waiting for the prime version of a Warframe instead of going for it's regular alternative. I honestly hate this, and can see myself quitting the game in the near future because of it.

I wouldn't spend that kind of money for a ultimate or normal character it's not worth it I wouldn't even spend that kind on a full game
