Great video, really enjoying the RS3 series! I just picked up a 67 Plate saloon RS3 last week and am seriously debating the trip up to Scotland. Would you be happy to disclose how much your whole set up from Infinit cost? Thanks in advance, keep up the great content!
@@TheHarleyH Not sure on that but I think they normally handle this power fine. My golf R slipped a little and then gripped when doing an in gear pull even with just a JB1 with minor boost increase over stock. Hamza's car seems to behave somewhat similar in that it does grip the clutch eventually but it takes too long to do it. Stage 2 Revo and DSG tune sorted my golf R out that time but most cars did not require a DSG tune at the power level I was running. The fact that it does not continue to slip makes me think it is just a software tweak that is needed for it to grab the clutch quicker but potentially it needs more clamping pressure too.
Sounds mental mate! This sounds abit like a stupid question but have you tried pressing the brake harder during launch? Some cars don't activate unless you're literally mashing the brake.
Love your videos mate and that car is wicked! I'm hoping to get an S3 in the next month or so, the RS3 bit too much money n got babbi on the way in January. Take it easy
After 7 mins through this video the pops and bangs sound annoyin to me fam 😅 I miss my v8 amg and rs4 smooth gargle sound , hope someone can create that in these hot hatches one day 🙏🏽
I've had one of those yellow helicopter flying over the fields next to me, looking for someone I guess..glad it didn't follow you, that car sounds like its firing gunshots from the back..
Great stuff mate, i worked for Audi Sport UK in the 80s and we had 2 Sports and an E2 for the 86 season. The E2 developed 550BHP for Michelle Mouton, crazy and awesome to see the 5cyl is still around (from 2.1 to 2.5ltrs) and you're within 30BHP of the group B monster we had in the workshop, keep up the great work
Hi mate, thank you! That must have been the best time to be working for Audi Sport, would love to have seen an E2 in action. The sole reason for me buying the RS3 was for the 5 cylinder sound, and it’s roots back to the Group B era
@@TRHamza Sat next to Hannu Mikkola on a tyre test in Kielder forest in 86, this was an s1 (E1) with around 470bhp. Nothing and i mean nothing below 4500rpm then bang all the way to 8200rpm. Left foot braking a must to keep the turbo spinning. Engine tech has come a long way mate, you'll have far more torque in you're RS3 available from probably around 2000rpm. Loving your car and reliving what I reckon is the angriest soundtrack ever made
Definitely some clutch slippage from 1st / 2nd and then 2nd / 3rd when you did the full power runs! Just get it looked at my dude. Just don’t want you to have a shit day.
Hamza, any chance you could let me know how much this all cost you to get done at the place you got it? I’ve got a 2018 RS3 with 2k miles on the clock and id love to tune it to 520bhp+
Hamza I have an rs3 saloon. When you want to do launch control. Put it in dynamic (Which you already have done) and traction in sport (which you’ve also done). Push the gear stick to the left when in drive which will put it into manual. Then put back into drive and push down to put it in S1. Then launch should work. It does that with me sometimes but then I figured it out 👍🏽
WOW! Awesome! I’d love to know the secret to affording one of these cars and then the extra money to mod it up to this BHP! (Not to mention bravery to void the warranty doing the mods!) Well done !
The cars rapid now. U know hes not fuckin around when its been tuned to 520👌🏼 and its not even been a month since purchasing the car. By the way Car looks beautiful though bro😍
lose the pops n bangs the cars 5 pot sounds good enough as it is .....but the car looks a demon round those back country lanes just about know where they are 😀😀🤣👊🏾
I just don’t get it. I have a RS3 about a year old. I wouldn’t dream of getting it stage 1 or 2 modifiedI don’t understand why people are so hung up with cracks and bangs from the exhaust. And the economy must be dreadful. The best mpg I have had is 35 and that’s with feathering the throttle on a long journey --- just wanted to see what I maximum I could get. Please feel free to educate me why these lovely cars get modified.
