our search for perfection in cars leads to fourwheel drive cars who do it fast but a little emotionless. Perhaps this is the sweetspot.......on topic. Love your videos
Ahhh my jcw clubman does this in 4.4 stock and smokes the VW. However my tune does it under 4… not sure why no one talks about this car and just the GTI
Thankd for your review, loved every minute of it.. and glad you gave the car a litle bit of stick so we can see perfromance and exhaust noises... love the littler burbles when shifting down gears too, thanks man!
I own Arteon R 2023. A great car, BUT a few things are more or less annoying: no ventilated seats option - a huge annoyance during hot summer for such an expensive car, no physical buttons on the steering wheel - very annoying, haven‘t got used to this pure nonsense, HUD glass sometimes causing reflections (this old solution should have been replaced long ago with something better), quite noticeable turbo lag in all driving modes, pretty limited space above your head if you are taller. They could have fixed at least some of these issues, also known from the previous generations, but they did literally nothing!
Dear TR Hamza! I would like to ask for your help! I bought a 2020 Audi RS3 Sedan and the car has OPF. I would like to build the car, in which I would like some help. My question would be: Can I replace the factory catted downpipe with OPF for a catless downpipe without OPF before reprogramming the ecu, or can the ECU be reprogrammed before the replacement? The problem is that where they can program the ECU, they don't install parts, so approx. I would have to drive 40 km. Which can be a good solution without causing problems (emergency mode, check engine light) to the car? In what case does the car remain rideable? Thank you in advance for your help! Regards
Thanks for the video. I like 8 headlights better than 8.5. Also, the infotainment on 8 feels like part of the dash but on 8.5 it looks out of place and like a big screen attached like a Tesla. I think VW didn't wish to redesign the whole dash since it would've been costly. The only thing I like better about 8.5 is the added hp.
I recently picked up a 2019 Golf R Special Edition (Australia-specific limited run of 400), with Akrapovic exhaust, Pretorias, Dynaudio, and 340mm brakes. I also looked at the S3, the Focus Rs, and the i30N. I really don't like the image of BMWs so the 135i and M140i weren't on the table. The S3 was way more expensive here in Oz; an equivalent used 2019 S3 would have been about $10k more than a Golf R. The RS was fast and fun but not very refined; it felt and looked like what a 13 year old boy thinks a hot hatch should be. The i30N was good fun, but not as quick as the Golf, and felt like more of a GTI rival. Yes, some rivals do some things better than the Golf R. But none of them do EVERYTHING as well as the Golf does. It's pretty much all the car you will ever need. Stupidly quick, classless, fun when you want it to be, quiet when you don't, practical, safe, well built, well equipped, and equally at home outside a casino as it is outside a school.
Great video mate, cheers from Australia. The first few seconds made me wish my R Special Edition had a sunroof so I can hear the Akrapovic in all its glory 😎😎 Here in Oz the Golf R came with a pretty good spec, whereas I believe a lot of UK cars were bog standard due to the cheap lease deals offered. Unfortunately VW classed Australia as a hot climate (tell that to folks in Melbourne in winter), so the power was down a little to 286bhp. Nothing a stage 1 remap won't fix.
Hey, As ive just bought a 2016 scirocco r with 56000 on the clock what was the problem in the end after you changed the cam belt & chain, ive rang vw asking when to change this belt & chain told me belt needs doing at 120,000 i said no way ok what about age of belt no no still 120,000, ridiculous i thought, so i asked about the chain & they said should last the life time of the car, whats wrong with these people now days
Yo bro , didnt Watch for 2 months. Came back now and the first thing i notice??? Where is the rs3 content i came special for the rs3! All the videos are deleted??
@trhamza, i have an 8Y S3 and im debating whether to get the stage 1 tune from MRC or take the jump to RS3. Mine is the black edition but has loads of added options, as i bought it straight out the showroom. What's your reccomendation? Is it worth paying the extra for the RS3?
hello, very good improvement I did not know that you could install MQB platform brakes in that generation, I have a doubt because I have a seat leon mk2 FR 2.0tdi 170bhp that comes with the same brakes as a golf mk6 gti, in my car is plug and play? or I have to adapt?
Top 5 best looking car for a daily that’s a non race car ….im 28 and I see some of these around 1-2 times a year and every time I see one it’s just rare and so beautiful ….. the gran coupe is best looking and the carbon fiber roof stands out so much in person … who cares about maintence just get a warranty …. Enjoy the V8 before it’s gone when we are 40+ we will look back on these cars and not care about the issue but how it was
So I got a 3 door manual lowered performance. I am lucky I live here in Germany. It's a 2015 and everyday is a fun day. It pops as standard and it rips most cars apart. Do the neighbours hate me..maybe but it's an amazing car and I now get it.
