1984 CJ7 with a ALH swap. GTD1756VK turbo, .260 injectors, tune by Tekmektronics.
Everything was done by me: engine rebuild (minus head), AX15 rebuild, TDI harness, motor mounts, etc. Great setup.

How long did the swap take you? Did you have to make custom motor mounts or any other custom pieces for the swap like bell housing etc?

The bellhousing kit came from Whitbread Performance. The wiring harness I did myself, along with the engine to frame mounts. North West Fabrication makes universal engine mount plates that bolt the the block, and you make the rest of it. It took me about 10 months, but I did the frame off at the same time. Additionally I wasn't in a hurry. You can get a swap done in about 1-3 months.

Man what a great feeling that must have been when you said "YES" haha.. i'm thinking of doing a TDI swap in my 97 2.5 aut TJ...hope my aut tranny work out with the 1.9 TDI ?? gatta do some research on this.
