Do yourself a favor and move the airline that’s going from the bottom of the tank to the valve any moisture that collects in the tank will go through your valves and destroy them

If you crack that line once every 4 months it won’t be an issue, but the plan is to have a drain on a 90 there but i didn’t have enough fittings

Those cars from that time have been the most comfortable interiors ever. I remember riding in a Regal, Monte Carlo and a Cutlas and all the interiors were like riding in a comfortable sofa. Lol

Bro. I got a 79 Monte Carlo. I hired a mechanic. He took my money and left me bad. Motor still hanging. My mother died while in progress. So I got de focused. And lost the money I gave. Thanks for ur videos. And we both share the same love for the car.

Hey bro, Get you some of that white wall spray at O'Reilly 's , spray those blue white walls and turn them white , will look alot better , also you should have went with a lower profile tire of 175/70 R14s. typical lower- rider tire size 🤘👊

The bottom bung on the tank should be a drain for condensation. You could try a T fitting on the top bung for a pressure sensor and the fill line to the manifold. Just a thought, but it could save you trouble down the line.

My 70 Impala on air with 1/2” lines and dual compressors with Little Larry’s manual valves would hop. It never had front shocks but when I bought the car it didn’t have rears and the back end would bounce like a beach ball lol. Once rears were put in it rode great. It would also hop as long as the pressure was way up there.

@casey customs Leave it 3/8in line and just get the higher pressure switch and a higher volume tank. Some rubber isolators for the compressors.

For your airbag wiring, you should get some 6/8/9/10/12 pin weatherproof connectors (not sure how many wires you have total) and put them in-line between the controller and the manifold. If you always wire the connectors the same way, then you'll have a modular system where you can swap controllers as needed by just unplugging that connector.

That lower bung is usually for draining the water that condenses in the tank. I think you could put in a "T" off that bung to allow a drain.

Nice progress! Like the video’s! I have a brake booster and master cylinder I got off summit. Used it for 2 months and decided to go with chrome. Still like new. Also have a passenger side front turn signal for a 79. Let me know if you want to get at them

If you want fast its all about pressure 200psi and fast valves need to bump up your alt for more amps to run those pumps right.

Don’t forget to check the knock offs! (Nuts that hold the rims on) the Dayton style wheels, you have to check those periodically, they tend to get loose , I check mine after putting them on at first and if driving a lot I check a couple times a month

I had a 78 back in the 90s that had to be rare cause it's the only one I've ever seen! It was a 400 small block 4spd bucket seats with console. I paid like 800 bucks for it and drove the wheels off for probably 3 or 4 years. I eventually pulled the engine and trans out and parted it out. Sure wish I still had it cause its probably worth a small fortune now. Anyway great video 👍

You say you don't like the plastic air fittings, but they are actually better than the brass. The reason they are better is because they are so light they don't wear the air lines out like the heavy brass ones do.

Training day monte was a 79 on 14x7s. The one you're building is a 78 n looks like its on 15s. The one in the movie was equipped with hydraulics, not bags. I noticed your missing your side mirrors.... make sure the ones you're gonna put on are 87-88 monte ls ones. Just my 2 cents. Overall you're doing a good job building it your way.

Lowriders like to drive without shocks to get that bounce. Others like to keep the shocks for better driveability. Also I’m sure everyone has already said this but the real car had hydros not airbags. Some lowriders say airbags are not legit if you wanna be true to the culture. I actually had a ‘78 and a ‘79 Monte lowrider when I was a kid. Never was able to afford hydros so I just cut my rear springs. We bounced all over the place but I was hella cool and got all the ladies. Had it painted at earl sheib with money from financial aid.😂
