In 2010, Adam Swanson learned Tom Brier's "Blue Sahara" which was composed in 2007. I had heard Adam play it during the 2010 West Coast Ragtime Festival. Here at the post-festival party, Tom had been playing on one piano solo for some time, with Adam seated nearby.
To encourage Adam to the piano, I said, "Tom, you know that Adam plays Blue Sahara now...?" Adam immediately jumped to the other piano, and this is what happened.
This is the first time the tune has ever been played on two pianos. They're completely making up a two-piano version off the top of their heads.
