Im part of the "younger" demographic and boy for the price and looks, this car is very attractive me! Never have i thought I'd be clicking into the Buick website
This is exactly the direction they need to go to attract a younger buyer base. There has been a long-standing perception associated with this brand and a more mature buying audience. I love this color and wheel combination as well. Great video, thank you Jeff!
I really like the looks of this Buick ST. Just wish the tailgate badges were blacked out like the grille badge. FWD doesn't bother me, a good set of winter tires would work fine. I'm in Iowa and we get our fair share of snow.
There is a lot about this car I like. However I'd prefer a more conventional engine, without a wet timing belt, and the MPG is nothing special. But I'm glad to see somebody is focusing on affordable "nice" comfortable cars. Not everything has to pretend to be sporty.
Where are you seeing four years bumper-to-bumper warranty in six years on the power transmission? I have this vehicle and my window sticker only says three-year/36,000 or five years/60,000
I’m literally was about to post the same thing. My window sticker says three years and five years. Soon as I heard him say four and six, I ran to my window sticker.
I think this is a mix of the new and old Buick. It essentially carries over the Buick design language that we've all known for the past 60 years. If we are all forced into electric cars, at least with this one, we know what a Buick should look like.
I'm looking into getting this car next year... as part of the "younger" demographic, I have concerns about reliability... but I'm in love with the ST !
Beautiful car, I like it a lot, inside and out.. However to add the icing on it make it: a hybrid, add dual zone climate control, add all wheel drive, minimize the bezel in the infotainment system, there are too much unused space in the corner they can be useful for added features. Add all of those mentioned above, you have a solid car. Nonetheless great review, and enthusiasm 👍
I’ve been driving in Wisconsin winters for over five decades now. The big jump was going from RWD to FWD. AWD adds a little but maybe leads to driver overconfidence more than anything else.
Real cars have a 4 cylinder motor. Some have 5, 6, 8, 10 or even 12 cylinder motors. Motorcycles have one cylinder, two cylinder, or even 3 or 4 cylinder motors. Cars should never have only three cylinders! Why you ask? Because cars are big and heavy. You need a powerful motor. Small motors are inexpensive. Large motors are very expensive. Buick now wants you to believe that you only need just enough power to get to the speed limit. Saying this is a car for the inner city says it all. The Envista is not a "real" car.
