They also didn't even lose that badly - i in the end it was kind of close because of the zealots. And like Harstem mentioned - I think if they had split off the zealot runby in the natural to some of the other expos, they would have won.

Even an average masters player or diamond 1 would pass out first, the MMR difference even just between diamond 3 and diamond 1 is as much as between bronze and diamond, and pros have more than that amount again on top of a masters player, they can play in their sleep, alcohol is impairing but it doesnt totally wipe your muscle memory and brain. It would be like a random person who likes basketball trying to beat a drunken NBA player. Pros have seen every scenario hundreds of times, they dont have to think to respond and even if they lose 75% of their apm they're probably still faster than a metal leaguer

Roaches/ravagers and banelings don't. Lings don't tend to be much of a dps dealer in ZvP and more for soaking shots of immortals or static defense, armor upgrades help in zealot runbies fighting defensive lings and the other way around, but banelings tend to invalidate large amount of zealots. If there are no banelings then an attack advantage over the zerg armor upgrades (which zerg won't usually get anyway vs ground) should be enough to win. So you have the armor upgrade which is mostly irrelevant in direct fights vs shield upgrades which helps archons to tank ling/bane in case it remains. That is if you play a ground style where you split off chargelot/archon for multi-prong attacks which is really difficult for zerg to respond to as ling/bane trades badly in medium supply vs that, spines also get killed fast by upgraded chargelot/archon and the rest of the army isn't as mobile. In this particular game the armor might have had a pretty decent impact in the runbies vs a mostly ling based defense, likely more than shields would have had tho.

Yes wondering the same thing, maybe he means that zergs take all gasses at once most of the time when the minerals are saturated and when they only take a couple it means they are going to attack as they are putting the minerals into units

He meant that if you see high gas saturation early, it is always means that zerg is unto something. But if you see only minerals saturation and very little gas it does not mean 100% eco. The same resources can be spent on baneling bust with an ocean of lings. But for that you need a map vision and scouting

They do mesh, because it means that the workercount of the zerg is low. They have full mineral situation regardless, but lack the additional 6-12 worker (+2/+4 for the extractors) to play a macro game. Playing an allin means you "skip the late drones", the gas drones.

@@jk-pc1iv The game looks more like 3.8k than 2.8k. I highly doubt that a 2.8k zerg would be capable of getting to 80 drones or playing a real unit composition that is less well known. At 2800 you are more likely to see 60 drones and roach/hydra than this.

It is also random so maybe you are right - some weird things might be explained by that too

3800 mmr with Hamster making a typo it seems, also you should not face master players at 4200, perhaps they are master due to the ladder bug.

@@henningbreede6428 Nope, most of my opponents are around 4300-4600 mmr for no reason. Maybe player base declining, but I have only played like 15 matches this season so maybe unlucky?

@@henningbreede6428 I even met a few 5000 mmr players when i was 4200, so its not uncommon to meet both masters and GM (but ofc gm isn't as common, except for the smurfs ;) )

This is still way better than the majority of sc2 players, just due to going up to sensible workercounts and playing almost correct unit compositions and this was random vs random, making the comment make even less sense.

Hello! No, You can't actually see other player's replays. They either have to send it to You or You have to be in a group with them in-game so You can watch the replays together.
