I like this buffet style and/or the smaller portions. One of my kind of "pet peeves" about the Meet Ups is that it doesn't do any good to be "all you can eat" if you are getting full meals instead of like a tasting menu at each place, because even the best eater can only consume so much in five hours before you are just miserable. Having smaller portions allows you to actually take advantage of that "all you can eat" and be able to try things that you haven't before. I was at a Meet Up and saw a pair of teenagers grab two churros, take a bite, and toss them with a chuckle about 'so much food', and I don't begrudge them doing the Meet Up however they want, but I think most of us don't want to just throw food away like that - it just feel icky to waste food.

I completely agree. There is so many hungry people in our country. Just a waste of food. Meetups need to do smaller portions except for the butterbeer, potters cream, and ice cream.

To be fair, the regular meetup food is not full size portions. The tots are in smaller containers, the hot butterbeer cups aren’t filled up all the way, the meatball sub is a smaller size, etc.

@@wdwgirl9206 I guess those aren't things I've noticed. When I go into Thunder Falls and get a full big-portion meal, I'm wishing it was just a tasting with a few bites per item instead of 2 pieces of meat and two side dishes. I get you can only make chicken parts so small, so I'd settle for a single piece of meat and tastings of any sides that are a couple bites. Edit: or what would be even better, as costs keep going up and more tickets are sold to the meetups now (there can be a "normal" wait time at Hagrids and Velocicoaster at this point) maybe they should consider completely their own menu so that they CAN make it tasting size. Take Thunder Falls again - instead of meat hunks and sides, maybe they should use off-bone chicken made into a chicken-sides combo bite like an amuse bouche, something you couldn't even get outside of the Meet Up ??

The majority of the places during the meetups do “down-size” their portions! We do our best to eat what we grab as well.

The Orlando Informer Mini-Meetup was a success in spite of the weather! 🌧☔After a while we ignored the rain. The little stations of food set up here and there was perfection. What a wonderful way to try a dish without paying for a full meal. Thanks to both of you for cluing us into this first-time meet-up! 💙💜 Maybe next year they'll flip it to Studios? Whatever, I hope this is the beginning of a new tradition.

We couldn’t agree more! That’d be fun if they switched parks, too! I’m assuming they chose islands because the two newest coasters (VC and Hagrid’s) are both in Islands, but we love walking around Studios at night!

I was there last Thursday in the rain & I had a blast! I was one of the people who rode everything including Hagrid’s multiple times. I was soaking wet but it was well worth it. And I got to meet & talk to you when you were talking to the Who at the end of the night. Y’all are SO sweet in person even when I was fangirling. I even met Churro on my way out of the parks! I definitely recommend the OI Mini Meetup & would love the OI Mac Meetup! 🤣😋

My wife and I ran into Tyler on Saturday during the OI event in the lost continent. He was great he took the time to stop and have a conversation with us and it was great. He was so nice and down to earth we didn’t get chance to meet Anna but hopefully next time. It really made my night! I’m a huge fan of you guys!

I didn'tget to experience the Orlando informer event...however my husband and I were there that week for our first grown up vacation together....his first time in the park. We totally used ya'lls suggestions for a great trip. I was also a totally awkward fangirl. Ran into Tyler and instead of being totally cool and saying "hey, ya'lls tips are great, I'd really rather run into your wife because gingers just "get" eachother (lol), we LOVE your channel, we have a similar medical family story"....or literally anything not super weird... I froze and was super weird and stared and walked away. But, anyway, yall are awesome. Much love from Indiana, and thank you, thank you, thank you, for all the awesome content!!!!! :)

The foods looked really good. The rain, eh, not so much. I hope to do an Orlando Meetup one day. My daughter just got a full time position at the college she works at, so maybe eventually her schedule will allow us to come for a Meetup next year, or the following. Hi Anna & Tyler! I shouldn’t have watched this at 5am. I am so hungry right now and I usually do not eat breakfast. The food all looked so good, except for the Nashville Hot, not a fan of hot spicy. I really have to get to a OI Meetup. I also love the interaction with the Grinch was so great, the best interaction I had with him was last year when it was just him and I in the AP Lounge in studios, he was great and we played off of each other for 10 minutes! #BringBackBuffalo As someone who lives in Nashville currently, buffalo is far superior to Nashville hot. It pairs better with ranch, you can make it yourself really easily, and it just tastes better. If you get a mild buffalo sandwich, it's still buttery and flavorful. If you get a mild Nashville hot sandwich, it's not even close to as good. Buffalo can stand on its own without the heat, and that's what makes it better

Yes I buy Mild Buffalo sauce and put it on everything. Ironically I grew up in the semi small city Buffalo NY. Moving to Florida this year after living here for 25 years

The rain probably made things a little slower but did you notice a difference is the atmosphere of the mini Meet Up since it was adults only? I really wanted to check one out, they just didn't fit in with my travel plans this time around (or rather, I had already booked my flight for that Saturday after the December mini MU and Frontier is not going to let you just change flights without a horrendous charge!).

Hi Anna and Tyler can you please notice how many AEDs are in the parks when you are there, both of my daughters have brugada syndrome and need to carry AEDs with them. If there are enough at the park it would be one less thing to carry. My oldest needs to be in her wheelchair while we are there and the less extra things we need to take the better. Thank you for your help.

I have never been to a meet-up, but I got my tickets to December 7! I was so happy when they announced the mini meet-up because we come home EARRRRLY on the 9th and couldn't do the regular meet-up. STOKED! (How may times can iuse the word "meet-up" in one comment? Lol) Fingers crossed for no rain on the 7th!
