I am taking my new kayak out tomorrow. It is a 15 ft Viking Profish Reload. It is a light, fast, hardcore ocean boat. My plan is to break in the new boat with an old school day, I am only bringing spoons and will just troll around the surf break zone or in that area. You have a new kayak as well, we are both lucky. Tight lines girl.

This lady is no joke. She can fish and she knows how to work those kayaks. I swear I'm impressed every time I watch one of her videos. Over all I really like that she gets so excited when she catches a fish knowing that she has probably caught thousands of fish in her life.

Impressive setup. I think my preference with the electronics would me to run a single 12" screen and set a hot key to switch to full screen livescope view when needed. Can't wait for the musky video next.👍

Ha! Kristine, Drum tournament coming up? Just kidding. I am like that too when I get a new rod and the first fish is what I wanted, it sort of charms the rod. You tickled me when you had the lack luster moment with that drum. I was out in Colorado, working on a friends house...I found a really nice small canoe on Craigslist and bought it. I went walleye fishing at a great spot and the first fish I caught was a huge carp. Now, mind you, I had five boats circling me as I fought the carp. I was sure it was a huge walleye...right until it turned sideways about ten feet down and I saw the pinky golden glow of ole Mr. Bugle lips... I boated it and took a few pictures. My canoe was not jinxed at all. I caught walleye, trout, bass and plenty of em. Nice kayak you have there. Good job and enjoy! Smiling, George.

Those drum out of the tail race of Lake Cumberland is excellent to eat. Especially if they get a light smoke.

Sounds crazy, but I use 2 rubber coated tool hooks on each side of my kayak. Like you would use to hang a weedeater etc in a garage on the wall parralel. About halfway up from the water and top of the kayak. It's close to grab and close to the water. I've even carried 2 nets at times. Works Great. Good video!!

With all that room in the front hatch I'm surprised they didn't put the 100ah up there. Are you talking about the Torqueedo battery or Lifepo4 100ah for your graphs and such? Awesome setup btw 👌 that live scope is sick. Oh and net up front is the way to go. Maybe get a rotogrip to the left of your graph so you can lay the net to the side and not smash both graphs every time you reach for it or set it back. 🤔

I think it is neat how you can rotate 90 degrees and you are light enough the kayak doesn't tilt. I do that and my kayak almost gets the side to take in water and I have a Bigfish 108

I bought a live scope system off my buddy, I am going to put it on my pa12, which lithium do you think would be best, I love what dugout did with your rig, I wonder if I should take mine down there I don’t live that far I’m in East Tennessee on south holston and watauga lake, you should come to watauga and catch some absolute monster smallmouth, three over 8 were caught this fall, my pb of 7.9 was from there, that dam looked like a place I fished in western ky years ago, caught some walleye there

Have you thought about putting a motorguide xi3 with the spot lock in front with Battery's in rear. Would balance weight out. You could go with a 24volt for more power with lithiums. Would be just about same weight front and rear. But if torqeedo is a sponsor.Would be a no go I guess. Good luck on balancing weight out

The disrespect for the Freshwater Drum.... I still to this day do not understand the stigma behind that awesome species. They fight like hell, have a unique life style and absolutely crush lures like any bass. But down south they praise the likes of the Red Drum and Black Drum. I love our Drum of the North.. =]

New setup looks sweet, but I can totally see you losing your mind with that net placement, specially if you are fighting a large fish and it wedges itself on one of your graphs or something. I hope you figure something out with it.
